One of their best. I miss those intense songs they wrote back then. I think they were more of a band than now. Ed has all the spotlight and writes everything alone. It sounds much more pop and at times it flirts with cheesy pop... I hate to say it, but listen to Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi and then Songs from black mountain and you'll come to the same conclusion!

It is listed inthe info at the right as 'The Distance to Here Tour... Was TDTH even released at the time Woodstock took place!? In the setlist I found I also found only 2 TDTH songs...

TDTH wasn't released at the time of the Woodstock performance. TDTH was released in October of 1999.

They played songs from TDTH during the summer prior to its release. I saw them play Dolphin's Cry in June at Atlanta Rockfest '99 & they even mentioned that we should enjoy it as we wouldn't hear it again until the CD came out in the fall.
