well, I do admire her courage to go on and put out a solo album as alternate as this, I like to see these kinds of things, makes me appreciate her even more. This is really about as terrible as a Tom Waits song should ever sound, you don't cover him just for the hell of it, especially with a voice as bland as hers. Im sure this girls heart is in the right place and credit to her for picking Waits to cover, it obviously isn't a sell out attempt. well said, this is the first time i ever listened to any of her covers, as i understand she produced a full album of toms stuff, so fair play to her, i'm assuming she must be a real fan. i love rod stewarts voice (his early r'n'b stuff) but even i wasn't impressed when he covered tom, although he did do it for all the right reasons (i.e. to get tom some cash when he needed it) but this is not my cup of tea :-)

I've now listened to a few of her songs and I've come to the conclusion that Scarlett is better off sticking to acting... and I mean that in the most respectful way.
