  • estas series para mi son tan originales...muy hermosas

  • @glorytoyahweh1 ; TY, I accepted. : )

  • @glorytoyahweh1 ;

    If you feel that God is telling you, that you need faith as a child......then listen to Him. And trust what He is saying to you. Remember, if you ask Him for understanding & revelation..He will give it to you! I have questions that I have asked God about, over 20 yrs ago (no joke) that he has just answered within the last two months(one of them today). That may seem way to long, however oddly enough I needed the answers now. : )

  • @glorytoyahweh1 ;

    According to scripture, we already have a measure of faith. Some more than others. Once again, I believe that this scripture is referring to receiving the Kingdom of God. I believe that it is the topic of the conversation. Although, children are much more inclined to walk in love, and have less "stumbling blocks" or hindrances than adults. I believe that the "children" is a reference or example, as we are all (believers) the "children" of God. That's just MO.

  • @glorytoyahweh1 3) Trust;The child has not yet learned to suspect the world. He still believes the best about others.

    4) The child has a short memory. Even when he is unjustly treated--he forgets, and forgets so completely that he does not even need to forgive. *I personally believe that our greatest model, is Christ himself. If "we" live out 1 Corinthians 13, we will fulfill the law. Christ said that the greatest commandment is to Love God w/all our heart & to love our neighbor as ourselves.

  • @glorytoyahweh1 ; Continued.. blessed them. I believe that this scripture is in reference to receiving the Kingdom of God...and His righteousness. But I will directly answer your question, with the words of William Barclay.

    1)Humility; A child has not yet learned to think in terms of place & pride & prestige.

    2)Obediance;His natural instinct is to obey. He has not yet learned the pride & the false independence which seperate a man from his fellow-men and from God.

    3)Trust;

  • @glorytoyahweh1 ;

    O.k. That is Mark 10:13-16 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not recieve the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms, laid hands on them, and

  • @glorytoyahweh1 ;

    What is the scripture? There are more than one on children. I need to read the scripture before and after, in order to know the context in which Jesus was speaking. * I mostly read out of the Geneva/ King James (a more reliable translation, other than the Torah for OT) so the wording may be different, depending on your version. Mark 10:15 ?

  • Contin.... Apart from Him we can do nothing....but "if" we abide in Him (Jesus) as He abides in God, AND His words abide in us...we will ask what we desire, and it shall be done for us. The entire 15Th chapter explains it in detail. This is what Jesus was talking about, when He said that we would do greater things, then they had seen Him do. Not many experience this, because they trust in things & people...instead of putting God first & trusting in Him. God Bless You!

  • God also said that there are 2 masters in this world God, and Money, Jesus/and God both say that if you have two masters you'll hate the one and love the other. So guess what, if you argue about not having enough money ....etc. etc. I hate my Job...Etc (99%) of the Popluation doe this, Guess who your master is Money. God is your other master. How do you elimante money as a master its easy. There's two ways get rid of all your money. Or enslave your money.

  • A camel has to kneel to go through the eye of a needle, we all have to kneel to get into the Kingdom, however a rich man has to bow all the way down and touch or stomach crawl to get through. In other words they have to constantly keep them selves in check, knowing God has given them everything. GOD has given every one every blessing.

  • The sin is NOT BEING RICH, for the last may even be the first, the sin is to be so obssessed with the riches that you absolutely disregard God. The sin is the fruit of wealth: Greed, Pride, Envy, Gluttony, lack of compassion. Such feelings make it nearly impossible to be GOOD and PURE, therefore, make it very hard to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

  • it was napoleon who said..religion is what keeps the poor from killing the rich

  • actually,the point IS if you are rich,give it ALL to the poor and needy.

    you cannot serve two masters,GOD AND MONEY.TRUTH!

  • what movie is this? i would love to watch the whole thing.

  • I hear the Republicans are constructing a 300-foot tall sewing needle and charging $20,000.00-a camel ride through its eye.

  • that was a brilliant comment--wow blew me away good stuff man--so true so true

  • Jesus' voice sounds like the voice from the alien in the Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man".

  • Thank you for the post

  • what these days is considered a rich man am i rich for having a computer or does that make me poor that my computer is 1000 dollars ...

  • My guess is if you didn't receive a five-million-dollar bonus for denying thousands of sick people on your health insurance dole services, you have a long long LONG way to go, my friend ;)

  • "What these days is considered a rich man?". The point is that they trust, in their riches...instead of trusting in God.* It is possible for a camel to go through the eye of an needle, but it is also very difficult at the same time.....depending on what the camel is carrying.

  • @MelodiesfromHeaven a camel cannot get through the eye of a needle, even if it were carrying nothing

  • @tsarenvy ;

    Of course they can! Jesus, was not speaking of a "sewing needle" if this is what you are thinking. He was speaking of the "side gate" or the entry gate at night...into the city. At night, all cities closed their gates...keeping the city safer from attacks. The "eye of the needle" was the only way into the city for it's citizens. However, there was only enough room for your camel to pass through, Without any possessions on it. So one would have to first remove any objects.

  • @MelodiesfromHeaven ive read its a reference to a gate too but i've never seen any contemporary evidence of such a gate existing

    i cant provide a source sadly, but the same thing i read said that the earliest interpretation (that there was a literal gate) 1st appears as late as the 10th century

    i think the literal interpretation was created so that medieval christian monarchs/ gentry would maintain a christian moral high ground

    i much prefer the symbolic absurdist metaphorical interpretation

  • @tsarenvy ;

    After I typed that comment, I did some research (something I obviously should have done, before typing).

    In my Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary 2003/ which includes translations - HCSB, NIV, KJV, RSV, NRSV, REB, NASB, ESV, and TEV. Page 1181, States, that some late Greek manuscript read "rope" (Kamilos) for camel (Kamelos) Also, that no such gate exist. I am very interested in what these words mean in Hebrew & Aramaic. Thank you, for your comments and calling me on it! God Bless

  • @MelodiesfromHeaven no worries

    incidentally, i'm not a christian but i think jesus' maxim about rich people struggling to get to heaven is consistent to other things he said & did

    i think the trouble people have is that when it was said there wasnt a middle ground - you had kings, then priest class and then everyone else and then slaves and lepers and the like

    now we can be domestically poor but internationally wealthy and the saying ruffles peoples feathers

    good luck with the research!

  • @tsarenvy ;

    It matters not, that you aren't a Christian. Despite what some may think, Christians are to search the scriptures and study them (like the Bereans, not taking for granted that what we have heard...is the truth). I've recently began to learn Hebrew (101...Lol) for that very reason. Believing in God, doesn't mean that I've checked my brain in at the door. So I do like to study...even (of course) outside the scriptures. I'm not interested in being right, but rather the truth. Thank you

  • @tsarenvy ;

    Even though it was next to impossible to get the camel through loaded with things, it was not entirely impossible. If a person had a light load, or maybe even the ability to pack it just right (a light load) you could fit it through the passage way. The disciples questioned Him afterwards & said "then who may enter in?" (speaking of Heaven) Jesus answered them and said, "With God, all things are possible." This is why in John 15, Jesus says..that apart from Him we can do nothing....
