  • I make electric guitars all day, but make a few acoustics on the side for fun. I just happened to find your lessons here, and I see the guitar I just bought a couple weeks ago is the same model Alvarez you have! I tweeked mine, the frets and bone saddle, perfect intonation, low action, no buzz.. Nice for a cheap guitar. In the meantime I'll make my own little fingerstyle guitar. Thanks for the videos.

  • @Cmonty007 Very cool! Thanks so much buddy!

  • Nice progression. Sounds like "Dance with me" by Orleans.

  • @karmye It does! lol Thanks!

  • i dont see how you bar the 9th in the E and C#m7, and the 2nd in F#m7 and still play is clearly. Any tips?

  • Uncle Dave - Need you to put some full length songs on here - I am sharing with others in the band!

  • @gpitts2009 I have a few somewhere! lol

    Thanks!

  • Good progression, having a nice and warm feeling. in my personal thought, it could be starting of a song (both palm muted and non-muted part, and later the actual song starts which should have a nice bridge part along with a nice solo), reggae and that 8 beat rhythm making it kinda pop/soft rock and plus all that sus chords usage, a verrry little feeling of Jazz though or not at all, but hay its just my thought. But i liked it like i always love your work!!!

  • @Chiffoneire Thanks!

  • Thanks, Dave. Ain't that the way intonation goes. I forget who, but someone told me as guitar players we can expect to spend half our time tuning our guitars, and the other half playing out of tune. LOL.

    Don

  • you have been prolific lateley can't wait till i get to try this jam out. how would you solo over this? i bet you come up with something awesome if you do try it. anyways awesome as always your intonations sounds pretty good from here man.

  • @cricketrider I would probably just use E pentatonic major.

    Thanks!

  • @Sawlon ah come on man you can do better than that. lol no diminished scales? you are probably right keep it simple right?

  • that sounds awesome.

  • @jblackmd1 You're welcome!

  • Great tune. Did you come up with it yourself? Sounds like it has the potential to be a song.

  • @van1976 Thanks Van!

  • Alvarez rules!! I've owned many of them and still do. I even had an Alvarez bass once. But they are great, and so is your playing as always! Cheers!
