My brother and I used to play a version of this game in the early 1960s - we had hours of fun - plus one or two bouts of sibling fist-ti-cuffs when the odd game or three became heated - delighted to see this product is still around today - oh, the memories!
this game needs only two things.... rubber tips on the players feet, and rods instead of using your hand to guide the players under the table. Rods allow to u see the whole game and control all the players in a more organized fashion. Some sort of Pro license would be nice, but its an extra.
@ORCA4312 Not fixed rods like in hockey, but magnetic ones. The concept stays the same, but instead of hands under the table, you'll have rods. It may limit the players more, but you gain speed of the game, speed of passing, and a better view of the table.

@Persadish Well, maybe. It would be like rod hockey. The disadvantage is that players would be far more limited in where they can move.
I think this is a pretty good design, but I would change the figure to allow different kicks from left or right foot.
