No, it works with every character. I did it on Kuja because he's such a pain... Squall's unbeatable with it. Exdeath constently teleports, and can't land any HP attacks. Emperor's Starfall activates in 2 seconds. It's some really tough times with that cheat on...

It is possible - through Command mode, but you'll still have to press on the commands for yours to do HP attacks, otherwise it's just Brave attack after Brave attack. Afterall, S-E didn't put in a 'CPU vs. CPU' mode in it...
