It's a heavy car, it weighs 4275 lbs. If it was 1000lbs lighter it might actually be able to compete with the faster cars out there but it's just too goddamn heavy. Having a supercharger gives it very good moddability though. Put a pulley/exhaust/intake/tune on it and it'll probably be mid 600+whp.

Ass looks a tad boxy, throwing a zr1 engine in a cadillac, its a cool idea but it doesnt seem economical, cadillac was ment for i guess the older demographic for people who want really soft suspension and speeds that wont make there heads spin, they should stick with the standard aspiration full size sedans rather than trying to make a sports car, its a bit hard trying to mix them

The tire chirps because the gear is changed very fast and the clutch is being engaged quickly. This happens especially for high torque engines.

Comparing GTR vs CTS? It is all matter of taste, and the size of your pocket. GTR is certainly more fine-tuned car, but with more money.

Leg room on the CTS-V isn't what we would call Luxury Comfort. Decent speakers although its Bose. Leather seats are good and plush, premium interior amenities. Best of all, the performance is top class. Chassis, suspension, magnetic ride control, 6.2L 551 lb/ft of Torque on a V-8 Supercharged and Intercooled. @Calimustang86 What I'm amazed at is, this car is not only very luxurious (it's a cadillac, after all), but it posts similar, if not better, performance numbers than a Shelby GT 500; it has almost the exact same power output. And, it doesn't have that silly iron girder live rear axle to deal with like the Shelby; it performs better on the skid pad and higher lateral g's. This car has totally opened my eyes; it's my next car purchase.

I wish they had put a little bit more of an aggressive exhaust on this thing, although it is a luxury car. It could have the exhaust gates like the ZR1 and be subtle when driving slowly. Or if it was at least offered as a package...

Regardless, the CTSv sedan is my favorite sedan, PERIOD. I like the coupe and it is impressive but the practicality and looks of the sedan speak to me a bit more.
