  • wrestling worlds toughest sport bar none.

  • Here would be my rankings:

    1. MMA + boxing

    2. a tie between Ice Hockey and Rugby

    3. Lacrosse + American Football

    4. gymnastics

    5. Water Polo (I hear it's bloody tough)

I'm probably forgetting a few ones but that would be my take!

  • @bluesgurugod You forgot Bull Riders. The chances of death and/or serious injury is higher than anything you've mentioned.

  • Shut up Tito you tool

  • Its gotta be rugby or boxing

  • @DextrosJ i love rugby but its gotta be boxing and it would be a lot harder to make it in boxing than it would be in mma

  • physically , long distance running imo

  • I'd say any of the combat sports. Boxing probably number one even tougher than mma due to the sheer brain damage. Then after that judo and wrestling are neck in neck. Its all a tough grind. However the enforcers in the NHL are as tough as anyone. They have to fight bareknuckle in front of thousands on any given night with no warning, sometimes at the end of a shift when they are exhausted. NHL enforcers are fucking gnarly dudes, tito has a point.

Props to football and rugby too. Tough stuff.

  • if not talking about fight sports, its definitely rugby ...

  • Lacrosse, the place Goalies go to die! lol

  • Wrestling. easy.

  • rugby. by far.

  • @notoriousb3nni in rugby can u bare knuckle fist fight like in hockey, and when you get hit in hockey you land on rock hard ice not soft grass, and also hockey is one of the fastest sports and when you get hit your going down

  • @captainCanuck96 you land on rock hard ice? what about the rediculous amount of padding and the massive helmets they wear???? and one of the fastest sports?? of course when they are on skates you idiot.. you yanks make me laugh.... fucking ice hockey..ahahahaha... check out australian rules football then rethink your statement..

  • @notoriousb3nni its not even that much padding, and hockey is way more dangerous to play, you can get your neck cut by the skate, your back broken, and is way more entertaining that fuking rugby where their is zero ACTION, and i hav watched rugby before and its not even tougher than hockey

  • @captainCanuck96 zero action? you must be watching some gay ruby. how many people that play hockey have cauliflower ears and missing teeth and ugly disfigured faces....eeerm none because they all wear crash helmets and gay padding.. dont say ice hockey is tougher than rugby you are just making yourself look very very stupid.. i still like watching hockey sometimes for the punch ups as they are nice straight up trading blow for blow because they cant exactly run around because of the skates..

  • @notoriousb3nni Another stupid comment. Please, read the bottom of your comment regarding why you like watching hockey and try to realize on your own why I am calling it out.

You wretch of irony, go take a shower and gtfo youtube.

  • @rslider00 the irony is on you.. like i said i enjoy watching the punch ups on hockey so how does that mean i am agreeing that its tougher than rugby...''i watch it for the punch ups'' means the fighting is entertaining. the fighting has nothing to do with the pads and helmets and the rest of it..you absolute fool....ps i am about to take a shower when im finnished hanging out the back of your mum you youtube fiend go gargle ypur dads jizz...hahahahahaha fucking lil mighty duck...''flying v''

  • Comment removed

  • @rslider00 and what flaws might that be then?. and the mum joke came after your pathetic attemp of an insult toward me. and hockey is just like puffs rugby ( grid iron) they are only really known in the usa and canada because the rest of the world aint interested in a load of fags dancing around in padding and crash helmets..lol

  • /watch?v=BZHDFliS6vo : Please watch so there are no need to talk anymore .. Thank yaaah!!

  • Comment removed

  • the question was not what is your favorite sport or what sport takes a lot of skil but WHAT IS THE SECOND TOUGHEST SPORT BEHIND MMA!

  • Boxing is the toughest sport hands down.

  • @ShoulderRollJason not in blue hell

  • bullriding!

  • The toughest sport is I'd say is marriage! Hands down and very few people win at it.

  • hockey players are tough but i have to give iit to rugby. i play rugby fun as fuck tough as hell broke my nose 3 times playin rugby but i love it

  • @tintin385 I play both but I gotta disagree and say hockey. Respect to Rugby it's tough as fuck broken my collarbone playing it, but I've broken 2 ribs, both wrists, badly did the right arm and as far as athleticism goes rugby I don't find I'm too too beat after a game. Hockey, I'm wasted.

  • @rslider00 you obviously dont play real rugby....

  • @notoriousb3nni Oh really? Yeah I guess I just play 'fake' rugby then. Stupidest fucking comment I've ever heard, I played against some of the best in Perth when I was touring with the team. Stupid fucking comment, and the thing is I love rugby to bits...but hockey is and always will be a tougher sport, athletically and from a gritty standpoint. Period.

  • @rslider00 ''period''..lol you should be so ashamed of yourself... hockey players are atleast half the size of your average rugby player. and they are all wrapped up in padding an helmets. so end it at that... and yes you do play fake rugby if you think that australia plays the toughest rugby.

  • @notoriousb3nni Zdeno Chara is 6'9" and 265 pds. There are many hockey players that weigh between 240-260 (especially heavyweight scrappers). I don't doubt for one second that Rugby is equally tough.. but Ice Hockey is a seriously tough sport. A Rugby player would never receive a hit to the head from a guy moving at 35+ Kms an hour. If hockey players weren't padded many would die. For me it's apples and oranges - I played both and their both very tough sports.

  • To be at the top in any sport takes an immense amount of diligence and focus.

  • i think hockey is a tough sport but i dont like watching it now mma on the other hand i cant unglue my eyes from the television when watching mma

  • what about rugby?

  • @TheJizmister Rugby's fucking tough bro, I broke my collarbone playing that shit. Love rugby, but Ice Hockey still probably takes the cake. Can't tell you how many bones I've broken in that sport and fuck it drains you a lot more than rugby I'll tell ya that.

Respect for Rugby still though, the sport's ace

  • waterpolo...just try with professional

  • Na guys come on after MMA it's Muay Thai. Taking those elbows to the face is tough.

  • @nefat yo dumbass. muay thai is a part of MMA.

  • Parkour is much tougher than hockey. If you don't know what it is, go look it up.

  • yep, definately gymnastics

  • *Professional Sport

  • My opinion its rugby, not american football but rugby.

  • hockey players say mma is harder fact

  • ... porn?

  • @deadzior ask jenna

  • Swimming is the toughest.

  • @drocks22 your on drugs its harder than football and base ball but wrestling hockey gymnastics and boxing have swimming beat by a long shot

  • gymnastics is tougher than mma

  • @LilBlitz116 not realy but its tough

  • i'd say varsity football

  • @crapmyster theres no fighting in football

  • Id say it has to be curling

  • fuckin eh!!!!!!!

  • no TITO it's RUGBY, RUGBY.

  • im sorry i would have to go with bull riding

  • betcha didn't see that one comin bitch

  • boxers train for hours a day to perfect their technique. drilling their footwork and punches, breaking everything down to the smallest detail. Hours upon hours a day.

but hey, if you think boxing takes no skill, go to a gym, and openly say it. I'd like to see a video of that. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to put you in the ring with someone your size, or even smaller than you to teach you a thing or two.

  • @BootyBot What with boxing rules? lol boxers are shit when it comes to real fighting you should know this already that question was answered in 1995. I have wrestleed and done ju jitsu with some standup. So yeah put me in the ring and I'll throw a boxer to the mat choke his ass out, or break his arm. Then what lol. And I played hockey my whole life go into a hockey game and say hockey doesn't take skill. You probably coulnd't even stand on skates properly while you said it... enough said pussy

  • @psylowade i played jv hockey through highschool. I never said hockey doesen't take skill. Congratulations. you would choke out a boxer under mma rules. fight a boxer under boxing rules. Then talk about how much technique and skill it takes. I am qualified to talk about hockey because I have played it. You are not qualified to talk about boxing. Jui-jitsu is not boxing. "some standup" is not boxing. boxing is not "fighting". boxing is a sport. last time I checked we were talking about sports.

  • @BootyBot So congratulations a boxer can beat me at boxing. Hey guess what a badminton player can beat you at badminton, a tennis player can beat you at tennis. I have boxed moron with gloves and i've done it a few times. Anyone that does a sport can beat someone who has not done it much, what is that suppose to be a great point or something? A hockey player would do better at boxing then a boxer would do at hockey. I rest my case.

  • @psylowade yup a tennis player would beat me at tennis and a badminton player would beat me at badminton. That's because those sports take skill too. Otherwise it wouldn't be competitive. If you had any real experience boxing you would know theres a lot more to it than punching someone in the head for 12 rounds. An NHL player wouldn't have any better a chance at becoming a pro boxer than a pro boxer would have of becoming an NHL player. Fights in hockey are in no way shape or form like boxing.

  • @BootyBot You could say that about any sport how a pro in this couldn't be a pro in that. In hockey you have to learn how to skate before you can do anything else, skill 4 skill hockey is the top sport. I'm not talking to master. Boxers like pacqiou and tyson master the sport and there unstopable, but if you want to learn it from knowing nothing hockey is the toughest. Anyone can do the basics of boxing standing and punching, not everyone can skate

  • @psylowade if you wanna talk about what sport is toughest as far as skill is concerned it's not hockey or boxing. it's gymnastics. gay but true.

  • @BootyBot Yeah, but do gymnasts play 82 games a year while being in the gym from September to April all the time? Do gymnasts get concussions? Do gymnasts get checked by guys who are 6'3 and 230 pounds? Didn't think so.

  • @OnRockIT talking about skill retard not toughness.

  • @BootyBot You are wrong. Gymnastics is one of the toughest, but bboying ( commonly called Breakdancing ) is the toughest. Bboys do what gymnasts do, but they had WAY harder variations to the movements.

  • @psylowade not entirely true. any one can throw a half ass punch, just like any one can skate half ass and play hockey. i can't skate to save my life or play hockey but i can still get out there and work on stuff. just an opinion i have tremendous amount of respect for both sports

  • @BootyBot Your argument was decent until you said the whole "skill" area.

You spend hours every day in a gym perfecting your technique and breaking down the smallest details in any sport...

  • wrestling

  • what about boxing

  • Try wrestling dick hole.

  • Cmon tito wat about rugby?

  • that's not a fact its your uneducated opinion, tougher=danger u can take the fight to the ground and hold them there, its a FACT kickboxers take more damage, more people die and careers end sooner, that's why thai fighters retire at 26 you don't know anything shut the fuck up

  • rugby ftw

  • smartest thing he's said in any of these interviews

  • boxing

  • @ssjanime250 No, Hockey.

  • @TheScore22 if you look at boxers, some of them have speech problems due to so many concusive blows to the head. if anything boxing is more violent than mma. in mma you can at least submit someone or have a grappling match. in boxing your having two guys who are masters at punching just clobber eachother until their knocked out.

  • @ssjanime250 Lol..Eric Lindros career ended after 9 years in the NHL...8 concussions, a broken a hand, torn ACL, fractured ribs, broken jaw. Im sorry man. Boxers only take damage to their head. In hockey you get hurt everywhere. Im more afraid of a guy 6'6 250 skating as hard as he can, htting me in the open ice with my head down than landing on ICE.

  • @TheScore22 naw I love hockey but boxing is the tougher sport. hockey is more skill oriented. I've done both as far as literal toughness goes boxing takes the prize.

I'd much rather be hit by a 6"6 250 guy (ussually they don't weigh that much) on the ice because I'll be wearing padding. compare that to getting punched in the liver by a 230 pound tyson, no thanks hand me the skates.

If u've fought a boxer, you'll know what im talking about. if not don't bother replying.

  • @BootyBot I was an ametur boxer about 5years ago, Iw asnt too good. While it was tough. The effects of 1 single hit have much more then 10 hard punches. 1 hit..can give you such a bad concussion youre sidelined a whole year..broken nose.. Mathew barnaby suffered 10 concussions in 10 years. Think about that. The impact of a hit is much worse than a punch..you just dont get hit as often in hockey. But in hockey you also have to worry about a flying puck hittig you or skates cutting you(zednik)

  • @TheScore22 If hockey was so damaging you would have people who play hockey talking like freddie roach after 20 years of doing it. zednik was a freak accident. That shit happens very very rarely. only 1 person has ever died in the NHL. 361 have died boxing.

  • @BootyBot Toughest as in skill. Are you bragging about a death rate... Fuck how many deaths does russian roullette have thats a tough sport. I could make a sport tomorrow where you jsut beat the shit out of eachother with bats till someone dies doesn't mean its a tough sport. If a sport has a high death rate that means the sport is flawed, it has nothing to do with toughness. Hockey you need to know how to skate, shoot, pass, fight, deeke, hit. Not just punch someone in the dome for 12 rounds

  • @psylowade ok lol. Where should I start. How about... ok here. Russian Roulette is not a sport. Ok next. If you somehow made up a sport where people beat the shit out of eachother with bats, then ya it's pretty safe to say it would be a tough sport. If you are talking about skill, then yes boxing does take a lot of skill. I can tell by how you talk about it that you have never done any real boxing in your life. If you think boxing doesn't take much skill you're sadly mistaken friend.

  • @sakurabafan09 just shut up you moran

  • @1crommy moran? do u mean moron?

  • ...why do you care which sport is more dangerous? does being more dangerous make it cooler or better?

aside from that, put an MMA fighter against a kickboxer in a street fight and see who wins..

  • @borednessislife in a street fight the mma fighter would win bcuz hed elbow crush the kickboxers throat after taking him down

  • @Warionstar yeah, mma fighter wins..

  • @borednessislife put mma fighter against allmost any martial artist and he probably would beat the other guy, maybe not some great krav maga expert cause those dudes play dirty

  • LOL its kickboxing, and its ahead of MMA. They take 3 times the punishment and train just as hard, there is no grappling its just constant shots to the head and body and legs.

  • @sakurabafan09 stupidest thing ive heard today

  • @bigpapastin23 stfu dumb ass, in kickboxing u take constant strikes, MMA is safer then kickboxing and boxing, even MMA fighters will tell you that, u can take them to the ground sit in guard and lay and pray while u catch your breath u can't go that in striking, your a fucking idiot don't ever talk to me again dumb ass

  • @sakurabafan09 from what ive seen of kickboxing its more feeling the other guys strikes out and his timing and waiting for mistakes and openings and kickboxing is not harder than mma because for example cro cop is ass in the ufc and never impressed me and even gonzaga kicked hit ass with!!! a head kick in his own game!!! mma u might think is not that hard but when u are fighting complete fighters that are dangerous in all aspects of clinch ground and striking its pritty fucking hard

  • @sakurabafan09 also i have never seen constant stikes in any ma to the point that anyone would go ape shit and just go throw reckless punches just to hit some one and saying its safer is just idiotic. you have subs that can brake arms even some can kill and paralize and the fact of putting someone to sleep is dangerous because they may never wake up and die due to lack of blood flow. the only thing i can think of in kickboxing is broken necks arm and legs braking but that all happens in mma to

  • @bigpapastin23 how many people have died in MMA again?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @sakurabafan09 only reason u even know that is cause u can google faster lol and it can easily happen in mma because mmas standing is all muay thai and of course there are more fatalities in kickboxing because all u can do is body and head while in mma more fights end by judges or subs really more than anything else and just people people have options doesnt mean its safer also the head is one of the most fragile part of the body so what do u think is going to happen if that is all you hit to KO

  • @sakurabafan09 if u do consider body tkos

  • @bigpapastin23 sorry bro MMA is safer. ppl don't die in MMA. people die in boxing and kickboxing, give up. The statistics speak for themselves, if MMA was more dangerous, people would be dieing like they do in boxing and kickboxing. It doesn't happen in MMA cause they stop fights fast on the ground and ppl don't die.

  • @sakurabafan09 if u compare the statistics also kickboxing gloves and boxing gloves hit harder than mma gloves.... i didnt believe it but look at sports science but liek i said if that the only target to win i would only go for head punches 2 but i will say that the only thing that boxing gives is concussions and death but mma deff is more wear n tear on the whole body way more than boxing and kick boxing

  • @bigpapastin23 wear and tear on the knees from grappling or death from to many concussions to the brain. Seems pretty obvious to me which one is more dangerous

  • @sakurabafan09 not just the knees everwhere! like getting your joints pulled out of there sockets being torn broken bones but u talk like any of the stuff in kick boxing cant happen in mma. mma is just far more dangerous because its dieing plus more there are risks of fighting any style cause its a F-I-G-H-T in every way possible. like i said kick boxing is more known for deaths because its the only option to win is head everything and in mma there are more options to win other than head strikes

  • @bigpapastin23 your arguing in a battle you already lost. How can MMA be more dangerous when nobody dies in it but hundreds die in boxing and kickboxing. Get over it and give up

  • @sakurabafan09 1. MMA is so controversial that the judges HAVE to break it rather to early then to late because every god damn goverment is on its case.

    2. for real? I mean are you for real, or real? you seriously think that kick-/boxing is thougher? DUDE wake up and smell the MJ in your room, both thoose sports is included in MMA.

  • @swedishserbo your an idiot, its a documented fact that hundreds of people have been killed in kickboxing nobody has died in MMA. The fact that u can get knocked out, get back up and get knocked out again makes it toughter, When we are talking toughness danger is a huge factor, kickboxing is twice as dangerous even joe rogan says that, because of the standing 10 count, its a fact. MMA is safer because u don't get a 10 count and people dont die.

  • @sakurabafan09 big words for a stupid opinion dude.

due to that MMA is so young and includes EVERYTHING that kickboxing does makes it so that MMA is tougher, fact that it includes more than kickboxing, seriously danger has nothing to do with thoughness, a sport is tougher based on what is requierd from the athlete doing the sport, and knowing more moves is included -FACT

yes in kick-/boxing u get a 10 sec count, in mma you get no time to rest therefore mma is tougher - FACT

  • rugby.

  • @kaarlopop i have played hockey, rugby, football and soccer and before i started mma i trained krav maga, kickboxing and track and fields... only for saying i can compare not to brag

  • tito is right...

  • Hockey? They have protective gear on... and skating is the first thing you learn.... Skateboarding, man! It takes way more balance and you get hurt a lot more...

  • what about rugby?isn't that a tough sport?

  • calm down guys is just titos opinion

  • Toughest game is russian roulette, no?

  • good call tito. good man

  • hockey is probably the second closest thing to mma, almost every hockey player u find has missing teeth

  • lol soccer im laughing at the guy who said soccer....if u mean what the pussiest sport ever soccer would be a good answer

  • mma sucks weener!

  • @MinuteMaidPremium - what???? really you need a check up from the neck up.

  • @isitcosimwhite yea the neck of THIS DICK!

  • @MinuteMaidPremium - thank you for confirming what I and every Youtube user really knew already.........

  • @MinuteMaidPremium say that to a mma fighter

  • @heavenlypimp i will... then i will break his nose becuase mma is pigshit compared 2 boxing

  • @MinuteMaidPremium im sure u just said to a mma fighter and got ur gay ass wooped now go ask toney if boxing is better then mma u shitstain

  • @heavenlypimp holy shit do u ever shut up... get a fucking life. and by the way heavywieght toney is a fucking shitty boxer

  • hockey is such a fuckin gay douche bag sport.soccer rules the world

  • @LilBlitz116 soccer? lol

  • lol HOCKEY?

hockey is a very tough sport, but you can very well get out of a game without getting hit. On the other hand MMA and FOOTBALL and RUGBY you always get hit. Especially in football. Football, you get hit hard buddy! hockey is tough and would be top 5 roughest sports, but i believe MMA BOXING RUGBY AND FOOTBALL are ahead of hockey. I even think wrestling is a harder sport than hockey. it takes so much wind(conditioning cardio)

  • @bright5086200 Kickboxing is tougher than: boxing, karate, hockey, football!

  • @bright5086200 Get out of a game without being hit? I don't think he's talking about teenager hockey.

  • @bright5086200 Believe me, I play high level rugby and high level hockey, and I used to box. Never done high lvl football/wrestling but hockey takes a hell of a lot of endurance, more so than rugby. Yeah I get hit more when playing rugby, but you aint on skates on ice playing rugby, hockey hits hurt a lot more, like lacrosse. Right now hockey I find takes way more out of you than when I used to spar in boxing and when i play rugby

  • @rslider00 Dude. When you play hockey you either play offense of defence. You get a break in between plays. And like i said. You might go out of the game TO find out that you didn't get hit once. The hits are hard but I would still say that if you start on both sides of the ball like in football than you get hit more and the gas it takes out of you is incredible esp. when i get the ball 30+ carries in a varsity game and play OLB. But to me wrestling has even more cardio than anything ive tried.

  • @bright5086200 ESPN rates Hockey the 2nd toughest sport in the world. First off smart guy..hockey is more draining then football hence why hockey requires the best cardio out of any professional sport. 2nd when you get hi in hockey you land on ice..not grass, think about it. And no, not just offence defence...... goalie..goalies play the full 60 minutes with over 100 pounds of equipment on them.

  • @TheScore22 hockey is great. but i'm pretty sure those triathlon or decathlon or marathon guys have better cardio than the team sport guys.

  • boxers, kickboxers, MMA fighters, Pro Wrestlers, football players, rugby players, and hockey players get concussions. These are all really tough sports and pretty dumb to do. You definitely put your brain on the line and that is why they are so badass and fun to watch.

  • well im a boxer and I play hockey and hockey is way fuckin rougher.

  • rugby?? I think rugby is toughest than MMA really, only that people don't know much about it... If you're going to answer me that Football is tougher than rugby, please get informed or at least have the chance to play both sports to have personal opinion, you have no idea... In mma you get more intentional physicall damage than anywhere else, but rugby players, i think, are more athletic, more strong, more agile in general

  • @drageleN No one is more athletic, strong, and agile than the best of the MMA fighters.

  • @drageleN I agree with rugby being tougher than football, but not hockey. I play both at a high level and I know how tough Hockey is

  • hockey?...lol. as brutal as mma is, boxing is infact a much harder sport. mma has never had any serious injuries since 1991 when it was first founded. boxing has 3 deaths every year due to brain trauma. even kickboxing and muay thai are harder sports then mma. they also have had many deaths in thier history. having said that mma is a great sport and an mma champion could beat a boxer and kickboxer both at the same time.

  • @slimithy12 I know and I agree with you

  • @slimithy12 injuries have nothing to do with toughness, alot of ppl get injured in horse racing and nascar that doesnt mean they are tougher, the reason boxing has so many injuries is because every time u get knocked down u get stood back up till u literally can not fight anymore, and boxing has so much brain trauma because all they do is punch in the head, an mma fight can end many ways and once u get knocked down the guy can come finish the fight, this is why boxers have so much brain trauma

  • extreme sports are harder than boxing but mma is toughest, u can take a horribl horrible beating, lol.

  • boxing

  • Hockey for sure

  • Hockey?.... Football without a doubt!

  • Comment removed

  • In case you forgot, hockey is the only major sport that allows bareknuckle boxing. You want tough? Try skating around rock hard ice, on two thin blades, and taking a hit from a 6ft 5", 240lbs monster, flying at full speed. Now imagine taking a rock hard fist, to the chin, from 6ft 9", 280lbs defenseman Zdeno Chara or Derek Boogaard. No doubt about it. Hockey is the toughest sport, outside of MMA.

  • @TheResidentSociopath the fact that they are allowed to brawl in hockey is mainly for the fans. The fans are what produce the money for the sport. Give the fans what they want and your gonna make money its pretty simple. It is just that the brawl has nothing to do with the actual sport. The rock hard fist is not something your are going to see in hockey, it takes years of conditioning to make a rock hard fist
