Sir Sean, people who have loved you in movies for years and always hoped to meet you are not going to give up the chance of doing at that if they see you. You're an idol of mine, but your statement is somewhat upsetting.

@2011TREADSTONEI think Sean is only talking about those members of the public who are rudely intrusive, as opposed to the fans who might pleasantly approach him.

He is not saying to everyone to keep away, merely reinforcing his, and other celebrities, wishes for fans to be civil and spare a thought for other's privacy, famous or not.
