@otacon451 Well, there is Battle Angel Alita (Really great.), an awesome cyberpunk anime is the Armitage III (OVA), there's Kite and Wicked City. A good demon one is Urotsukidouji. Also Ninja Scroll (The Movie). Bubblegum Crisis is another great cyberpunk. You should checkout Iria: Zeiram the Animation. Also Green Legend Ran is great. A great cyberpunk (But has way less violence) is Silent Mobius. A you should checkout Cyber City OEDO 808. Also Blue Seed (A must.) .And AKIRA, Ghost in the Shell.

TBH I liked some concepts of the manga and I liked some concepts of the anime. I didn't like how the manga treated Genocyber as some kind of superhero at the start. its infamous because during the 90's there was a huge amount of cyber punk anime which had themes of intense violence and cybernetics meshing with humanity and psychic powers this anime is particuraly well known because it is incredibly violent more then most animes of its genre. plus it has some touchy subject matter such as two grown men raping a little boy. and for the most part had a ending which made no sense what so ever its a mystery as to what it means. but its mainly the intense gore
