  • All good! Great voices unite, keep spreading the song and the message

Aye OH..easy to chant. Hey you over there,

sister and brother, many have sung it, time to make it happen.

  • @IOANNIS69ORIGINAL THIS IS EPIC AND AWESOME. Music is such a great way for us to put aside issues of race, religion, and politics. I'm so glad they put all types of music in this, from that awesome rock n' roll guitar solo to hip-hop. This song promotes international unity, togetherness, collaboration.... It is a way for people around the world to come together to produce an amazing piece of music, putting aside all barriers. I think that by itself is a cause, and a reason to love this song.

  • Trinidad !

  • this is where im going to school! im so excited! :D

  • amazing

  • Robert Gillies sent me here!!!!!!!!

  • This song and video deserves at least 7 billion views. Amazing work, keep it up, one day we will see a world like described in this song :)

  • Omg!!! it was so cool to see all the different artists perform together.Music defenitely unites our hearts. It articulates our feelings when we cant with words.Berkley rockzzz The idea is very very COOL!!!WELL DONE!

  • who is singing at 2:23? The song is amazing, the singer at 2:23 was just unbelievable!

  • @keyboardfanatic1 Haha, except ROTU isn't quite at the level where they are "reference material" like that ;)

  • really great! love the berklee and global connection...flowing song, great talent and production. lets find ways to get others to see it. quincy jones would have loved to have been involved :)

  • Thank you, Jacqueline Kristine Sim for representing the Philippines! You make us all Pinoys proud! Galing! :)

  • Music is the only thing that can unite the planet? I disagree. I think that that is an easy way to make music king of the arts.

  • THANK U NIKOLA METAXA FOR REPRESENTING CYPRUS AND MAKING US PROUD!!! PEACE =)))))

  • Kinda sounds like Lion King meets Avatar.

  • We are the waves of just one ocean, the flowers of just one rose-garden, the drops of just one sea, the trees of just one orchard, the grains of just one harvest and the plants of just one meadow. Baha'u'llah

  • Dear Friends: It's really a wonderful song .. I swear I could feel in my soul a great force .. is the force that you transmit. Everyone has different ways to show the world how wonderful it is the unity of the humanity Thanks to every one of you and blessings to all...

  • You will make a difference....when you save a child.

  • Rhythm Of The Universe is a musical collaboration project ...etc... promote the value of music education.

Something`s missing...I believe that there is no specific purpose of making this project.

What is your goal anyway?Raising money for the dying children of Africa? Is this song dedicated to the world`s music education? Why don`t you make a song for unemployment or for the human rights or for our planet`s climate?

I like the song but you`ve got to give me a good reason to love it!

  • @IOANNIS69ORIGINAL to spread a message of humanity and also to keep music education alive.

  • @RockandPartyJon July 2011

W H A T? Every second a public school student is suspended.* Every 8 seconds a high school student drops out.* Every 18 seconds a baby is born to an unmarried mother. Every 20 seconds a public school student is corporally punished.* Every 21 seconds a child is arrested. Every 34 seconds a baby is born into poverty. Every 42 seconds a child is confirmed as abused or neglected.

  • @RockandPartyJon

WHAT??? Every 42 seconds a baby is born without health insurance. Every minute a baby is born to a teen mother. Every 2 minutes a baby is born at low birthweight. Every 4 minutes a child is arrested for a drug offense. Every 8 minutes a child is arrested for a violent offense. Every 18 minutes a baby dies before his or her first birthday. Every 45 minutes a child or teen dies from an accident.

  • @RockandPartyJon

What??? Every 3 hours a child or teen is killed by a firearm. Every 5 hours a child or teen commits suicide. Every 5 hours a child is killed by abuse or neglect. Every 16 hours a woman dies from complications of childbirth or pregnancy.

    * Based on calculations per school day (180 days of seven hours each).

  • @IOANNIS69ORIGINAL Cool? i didn't ask. YOU asked what the reason for this was. I'm only answering, no need to get mad I'm a 17 year old student in high school leave me alone. It's actually pathetic that you typed that much to 1 person, why don't you go make a difference. this video was meant to send a message not to save children?

  • @RockandPartyJon Sorry if I have made you feel ungry but the truth is that I thought you were a member of ROTU. Anyway I didn`t type that message hahaha I just copied and pasted it to you.(taken from the Children`s Defence Fund research library). My personal point of view is that there are more valuable human necessities to support and fight for than a simple promotional video song that was made from Berklee students...

ROTU has got to take some action not just send a message.

  • @IOANNIS69ORIGINAL Hello Ioannis69original ! Happy New Year! I'm very sorry it took so long to get back to you. I understand your confusion as to the purpose of Rhythm of The Universe, sorry for this. Rhythm of the Universe was created as a way to show people the possibility of a united world. It is way to show people how we were already living inside the walls of Berklee. There, music brought us together and knocked down the walls that normally would separate us.

  • When we play music it's not about religion or politics, it's just about people and music. Sadly, a lot of people don't see this way of living as a possibility, so we are here to prove otherwise. As for music education , we firmly believe in its value and its potential to change lives, it personally has changed mine. As we are a relatively new project there are few things that we are able to do right now, but we do have big plans for the future.

  • I personally have been a part of a project called Beyond Borders, which we would love to support, that brings music to underprivileged children. We are a small group but it is amazing to see the effect of what just a few people with guitars and djembes have on children that are repetitively neglected and not allowed a chance to express themselves. In that manner I do believe music education has the power to save a child. These are the things ROTU is working its way to do.

  • I understand we will never be able to please everyone and there are many other causes and problems that need attention, but for the moment as musicians this is what we know and have chosen to do. I hope this clears things up. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to send us a message and I'd be more than happy to answer anything. Hope this new year brings a lot of love for all of us! Much Love, Gabriel Peguero

  • @IOANNIS69ORIGINAL

International unity. Togetherness. Collaboration. People around the world coming together to produce an amazing piece of music is cause enough for me to love this song.

  • Wonderful message! I will tweet and facebook it tonight.

  • The anthem for the world is bVI, bVII, and i.

  • The Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens! Baha'u'llah

  • Felicitaciones!!! Ustedes son las estrellas destinadas a señalar el camino de la PAZ a toda la humanidad. Gabriel, tu ejemplo de entrega te hace merecedor de copiosas bendiciones!

  • 4:44 yours truly on the left ;) Great job everyone!

  • fascinating

  • LRN 2 GUITAR, NOOB

  • @diminishedwholetone Really? Do you go to Berklee College of Music on a full-ride? The guitarist in there definitely knows what he is doing, it just didn't need more than he did. Overwriting is the number 1 reason "artists" don't become successful.

  • @RockandPartyJon Actually, not LRNing 2 GUITAR is the main reason artists don't become successful.

  • @diminishedwholetone Being a noob doesn't help either

  • I get proud when I see the Norwegian flag, Amazing song - Love from Norway <3

  • I can't believe I have the privilege of going to the same school as these people. Well done, and go Berklee!! :)

  • Hey guys its amazing... Made me very happy and fullhope... Great job...

"Music is the only thing that can unite the world."

  • great great work!

  • I love this! Its amazing! Just what everyone needs a pledge for peace instead of all the wars and crazy killings!

    YOUR WORK IS BEAUTIFUL!

  • my brother is in the video at 4.43 the one with the glasses and i am ten years old this is cool :]

  • FANTASTIC EFFORT. I appreciate this so much.

  • I wish all of you who wrote message on the wall find your own peace and be happy : )

  • this is an amazing video. makes me so proud to go to berklee and even be around these people

  • I'm in it on the left at 4:44 i'm so happy this is out I hope the message and video spreads globally :)

  • this is cool and i am 10 years old :] my brother is in this video

  • totally agree with Roger: folks! you are a joke around Berklee, you need to know this. The world needs true musicians, true people and stop to hide behind the word PEACE. You used tons of people to make the video without paying a penny, because you know how to use things and people... and this is being smart, not peaceful. Lift up your spirits and be true.

  • @rogerblue3 -

if you want to find world peace with your hands, then do so with YOUR hands.

You want peace, and you spew conflict from your lips, to deny an effort to create it. What sense does that make?? If you are someone who desires peace, then desire peace. Fight with peace and dont advertise for someone else, just because of an opinion.

  • I love rotu, and I do it because it's potential for change is enormous.

Imagine the whole world, singing one song, together, at the same time, in every language.

Imagine for a second, everyone, outside, with eyes raised and heads held high, screaming out their frustration in one way, "Yeaaahhhooo, yaaahhhiiiyeeaaooo."

In those few seconds, ...is peace i want to see.

  • @Jocelyneprof

With a heavy heart, I am sorry if you feel like trying to change the world is a joke.

Something that sounds as crazy as that, sounds like a joke to me as well.

But I believe in it. I do.

What is a real musician Jocelyn? Is it the talent that they portray?, the number of gigs they have? or the simple fact that a musician, loves music?

    I, am a true musician

  • Peace is done on every way that can make a touch to the souls and trasnmite a message of priority for the needs of the world, not only a work with the hands full in the dirt with people in need, if not, working with the soul able to do the service of warning to these people who don't know what's going on around the world.

Greetings from Dominican Republic, very proud of the work, keep that good work!! congratulations Gabriel Peguero and to the other guys!

  • @rogerblue3 Hi Roger, My Name Is Gabriel Peguero. I want to sincerely apologize for the deletion of your comment earlier. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I promise this will never happen again. Please feel free to message me if you would like to talk about the project, any doubts or questions about it. I would gladly explain anything and as I best can, testify on my experience and belief in the project. Also I will definitely check out Daniel Barenboim, Thanks ! . Much Love. Gabriel.

  • @rogerblue3 dude u r pathetic...like wow...just a super special person...i dunno wtf daniel barenboim has anything to do with this...he's a classical pianist and u sir are a douchebad dipsh*t loser...go f urself cuz u'll never have anyone u sick pedophile

  • Goosebumps every time I hear it! Great job guys! So proud to say I know you!

  • Very well done.

  • Congratulations Brethren!

  • I find this video highly deceiving. Although they title it, "Rhythm of the Universe", it only includes Planet Earth. OH, and world peace is never achievable.

  • 2 and a half minutes of credits? lol come on guys, surely that could go by a tiny bit quicker. Dope video though... -_-

  • @Zaynidin I knew it was you ....hahaha

  • @ariadnaastellanos lol what do u mean, what did I do, what was me?! -_-
