@biologaun The dancer is Robert Desrosiers, a canadian ballet dancer. Sometimes credited as Bob Desrosiers. He plays the longer part of this "memories" video in Cohen's movie "I am a hotel", credited as The bellboy. You can find some of his choreography work on youtube. :-)

@laggie24 This does not have the scent of John Lennon.This is all Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee...music composers for the fifties and sixties. When they split...it was no more dance tunes for pairs to swing together. It would be you stand here and I will stand way over there and we will just dance separately. That was a great transition at the end though. Old school out...new school in...and as music progressed couples would no longer dance together. The distance would get greater & greater apart!

It looks like it's currently out of stock on Amazon (The film was called I Am a Hotel). Maybe try a Leonard Cohen fansite? It's a Canadian production and years ago I would see it on television..not sure if that helps. Here's the order of the videoclips - I'm sure I've seen The Gypsy Wife and Suzanne also on YouTube, and possibly Chelsea Hotel #2:
