  • enjoy this and kilahoe ..the best band and pipers

  • Woahhh.... A shivver went down my spine when the pipes started....

  • best pipes and drums in the world

  • I LOVE Garyowen, especially on the pipes.

  • Wat een geweldige band

    Prachtig

  • BEST PIPE BAND IN THE WORLD

  • The 3 tunes are St Patricks day , Garryowen , and Rory O; Moore

    grand stuff !!

  • Warms the heart to hear the pipes and drums, and of course to see the sway and the swagger of the saffron and the green, wonderful display.

  • wonderful thank you

  • the first tune is an irish solo set dance called St patricks day

  • This is Garryowen. 18c Limerick drinking song. Became a march for the British (Royal Irish) Lancers. Then for New York Militia's "Fighting 69th"; and to this day the U.S. 7th Calvary. My Dad's favorite tune as he was among the last officers of the horse cavalry at Riley in War 2 and a helluva horseman.

  • correct me if I'm wrong, but is "Bonnie Dundee" one of the tunes being played?

  • No.

  • thanks man

  • no i didn't hear it in there anywhere, all the tunes sound like it though!

  • What's the first piece of music played- before Garryowen. I've heard it called Mary the Money

  • St Patrick's Day in the Morning

  • l am sorry to tell it was part of Gerry Adams negotiation's with Tony Blair with Sinn Fein going back into government with the Dup,it was a precondition, and that is why you will never see the 1st battalion of the Royal Irish Regimentin northern Ireland as it might offend Gerry and Martin

  • You will see them in Belfast City Centre on the 2nd Of November

    FAB

  • Its a pity you did not turn up on time to send the lads off to Afghanistan. I was there at Clive Barracks on the 15th for the parade. It was not the same with out you. Singing the Hymn with no music was a no no. You would have made a difference it was'nt the same.

  • The band plays regimental marches of the former Irish regiments. The Royal Irish Regiment now represents many former Irish units in the British army. Among these were the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, the Royal Ulster Rifles, and the Royal Irish Fusiliers. These famous units were also created by many reorganizations in years past until they all became the Royal Irish Rangers in 1968. This famous unit lasted until 1994 when it all came full circle again with creation of the Royal Irish Regt.

  • @waterloo3 you left out the UDR or ulster defense regiment which is what it was called before being reformed into the royal irish rangers

  • @windtalkersblah YES The mUrDeRers!!

  • @phoenix1916 A little problem with your caps lock?

  • @Keach47 Dust caps maybe!!

  • @phoenix1916 Well, they didn't murder you, you're still posting.

  • @Keach47 Oh lucky me the sectarian filth spared a few, should i be grateful!!??

  • @phoenix1916 Lucky that you're alive, damn right. If you want to troll and pick a fight, go elsewhere, lad. I only deal with adults.

  • @Keach47 Methinks it was YOU that picked the 'fight' then your sort are good at that, remember what you got the last time!!!?

  • @phoenix1916 Just what DID I get the last time? WHAT last time? I was commenting on your juvenile mentality. You sound like an American of Irish ancestry. You make me laugh, but God still loves you. Have a nice day now.

  • @Keach47 Actually, I didn't make that comment. I love the Wolftones. Were you in the UDR or RIR? And I never said I liked the UDR. So, and disorders I may have are my own business. But I see you don't like answering questions about your ancestry, which sort of proves that you are an American of Irish descent, and like many of them, you're wrapped up in that potato-fattened, Guiness-soaked vision of Ireland. You also need to lear how to spell. Bye now.

  • @Keach47 what comment i didnt mention any comment u ape????? The wolfetones sign about the injustices of the UDR and their crown force oppressors and how they have systematically colluded with Unionist terrorists yet u like them and the same terrorists ha ha ha get that condition seen to ASAP weirdo

  • @Keach47 i need to 'lear how to spell' do i??? ha ha ha ha IDIOT!!!

  • @phoenix1916 Damn! Yeah, you got me there, I've gotta admit that. Your superior intellect is way ahead of mine. I'm giving you a gold star for that one. Although I COULD'VE been writing in dialect.

    Well spoke, lad! Well spoke!

  • @Keach47 Ulster scots no doubt ha ha ha think about it the next time you mock someones spelling IDIOT lol irony or what!?

  • @phoenix1916 You tell me, lad. It seems you're the expert now. I pass my crown to you, or caubeen, if you prefer. Yes, i didn't miss the irony, and I'm gratified beyond measure that you picked up on it. But tell me, who is the real idiot? The Idiot, or the Idiot who replies to the Idiot. Seems we're both in the same boat there. But it has been entertaining, I'll grant you. Relieves the boredom. Close on the Ulster Scot, by the way. Kudos again. Have a good day.

  • @Keach47 The IDIOT that said "BYE" 5 posts ago LMFAO!!!

  • @phoenix1916 I was hoping you'd take the hint, but it looks as if you're just as bored as I am. I really would love to continue this, phoenix1916, but I do have things to do. Perhaps we can do it again sometime? And I'm glad you're amused and laughing. It's a helluva lot better than many alternatives that come to mind. Good luck to you. I mean that.

  • @Keach47 Are you certain now!!!!? You said the same thing half an hour ago, its almost as confusing as you liking the mUrDeRers and the Wolfetones at the same time, anyhows best of luck old bean ha ha!!

  • @Keach47 what ancestry u ape i was born and bred in Ireland u clown can u not read my profile ha ha ha juvenile indeed!!!!

  • @Keach47 what sort of IDIOT likes the Wolfetones and the UDR har har, have you some sort of disorder????
