The white eagle is the spirit of the eagle, in this case we are asking her/him to fly from my heart to the creator, essentially delivering our prayers. In the ceremony we build a picture of the eagle with the white coals. The eagle is also my guide in the lodge, in healing etc. The bear spirit is the healer.
