it could be your connection or you dont have all the updates try that if you do and it dosnt work try reinstalling it mess with it for a while they are haveing allot of problems right now like getting forced loged out losing connection but try what i said k hope this helps.

For all you guys who can't figure this out here you go;
Step 1: Click on the start menu
Step 2: Click my computer
Step 3: Click Local Disk C:
Step 4: Click Nexon
Step 5: Click Maplestory
Step 6: Find the file named Gamelauncher
Warning: Be careful though, There's a file called; Maplestory, Do not click that. It just sends you to the Maplestory site.

It's probally because you didn't select your character and it said that, if you select your character and it doesn't work, i dunno then.
