Taliban doesn't mean seeker either. "Talib" means "student of Islam". "Taliban" means (plural) "students of Islam". He says it in passing later on.

"talib" simply means "seeker".the word doesn't have any special relation to religion.

example:

"talib e muhabat" means "seeker of love".

"talib e doolat" means "seeker of riches".

"talib e ilm" means "seeker of knowledge". and taliban is just plural of talib.
