  • Americans: Protect Education, Medicaire, and Social Security. Reclaim wealth from aristocracy with taxation.

Republicans: Destroy Education, Medicaire, and Social Security. Redistribute wealth to aristocracy with taxation.

Democrats: Cut Education, Medicaire, or Social Security. Redistribute wealth to aristocracy.

  • The best part is that the WSJ is owned by...... NEWSCORP! Reality is so overwhelming in this case that not even Rupert Murdoch can distort the truth.

  • I wonder how much the poor get from the government - and how that compares to how much tax payer's money is given straight to the rich thru bent 'tax breaks', private military contractors, the banks, and the 1001 corporate hangers-on who seem to see government money as their democratic right.

  • @nowthatsinteresting1 Yes,I can tell you the GOPS don't give a shit about the poor,disabled etc. Gov.Rick

Perry is the worse ! he is the biggest hypocrite of all the tea partyers Karl Rove is supporting him. If that

don,t tell you some thing then nothing will !!!

  • @KKKSuperFan Then legalize weed to pay for bridges and roads.

  • I knew this Lying Liberal fnck that 'replaces' from time to time the other and even bigger lier over at MSLSD (msnbc), was an American Hating Piece of SHIT! You fncking pandering fool.. Why don't you The the Truth and stop the agitating.. We Are BROKE.. Moron!

  • @lunarmation We are broke and we cut off the poor to fix spending? You and your morons are not getting far.

  • It will all be cut in the course of time because no one will have any money to be taxed. And it will not matter because the Federal Reserve will just print money which will lessen the purchasing power of the money that is spent. When the economy and our currency crash soon, things may well be set right. BTW, I only make about $35,000 per year and I do NOT want anything the government wants to give.

  • If you want my advice: move to Canada.

  • Please, give references in the description below the video or something similar. I'd like to view those polls in depth on my own.

  • @Mattiasgregersen Yeah I seriously wish they'd start doing so, I posted comments about it a while back, but it doesn't sound like they're listening =/

  • I friggin posted this everywhere. SOO immensely important, AND it's (in part) by WSJ, so I don't just look like a lib shouting in a small room.

  • Put the polls on your website, or at least the links to these polls. Make it even easier to check the info.

    Thanks

a political/social philosophy advocating the freedom of the individual,

modification of political, social, or economic institutions to assure unrestricted development in all spheres of human endeavor,

  • how about cutting down on the dollars you put into the military. you paranoid americans.. in a way you should be paranoid. so much havoc you've been causing the world playing worldcop. the earth don't need no cpt america!

  • You can say the earth is flat, but it doesn't make it true. Who watches this garbage?

  • Do the poll among those paying for the free handout. Please, only a moron with a Liberal Arts College Degree could believe this shit.

  • @deathtrapdeath believe it or not, not all of us that pay taxes are sociopaths that would leave the elderly in the cold for a few sheckels.

  • @deathtrapdeath

It was done among those paying for the handout.

  • /watch?v=PTz71TOFoGs&feature=related

  • Polls in: American people want social security, Medicare, unemployment benefits and heating assistance cut to balance budget..

  • I know some ppl believe the school teachers in Wisconsin are making too much, but...

One man on Wall Street made more money last year than the combined salaries of all 60,000 teachers in Wisconsin, and yet...

He'll pay a lower average overall tax rate than most of the teachers.

You can't believe this is fair!

We must raise the tax rate on the super-rich to get the budget balanced!

We must raise the tax rates on the super-rich!

  • THIS IS A REPOBLIC

  • @1inkdaddy -'...A REPOBLIC ...'-

    -

James Madison defined Republic in terms of

    "REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY"

as opposed to direct democracy ..."

    -

The "Father of the Constitution," he was the principal author of the document. In 1788, he wrote over a third of the Federalist Papers, [Fed. # 10] still the most influential commentary on the Constitution.

  • @DeepSouth16 Hey, remember me. Yeah, you're too funny to not respond to. The thing here is you just don't get what his is about. The point the left is making right now is that the playing field is uneven, so we need to economically even it for the lower class. Thus a tax split. However, keep in mind that I don't 100% agree. I'm just saying that this economic thinking will work for the average man so that he can fearlessly buy more products, thus stimulating the economy. Just saying.

  • @DeepSouth16 Ah, faggot im not even an Amifag.

But fun how u spit ur ignorant prejudices at me :D

  • @DeepSouth16 Am sorry it is my money cause I pay taxes.

  • @DeepSouth16 fuck the poor! That's what Jesus would do!

  • @Uzurr69 Without Protection.. then when the love child came to light, we would find he "encouraged" an abortion.. all while campaigning on moral fortitude and family values!

  • @Uzurr69 Remember it's not WWJD, it's JWLTDS Jesus Would Let Them Die of Starvation.

  • @Uzurr69 Nah. He definitely touched them up a lot, but i don't think he ever had sex.

  • @Uzurr69 but doesn't the church teach us jesus was against fucking? :D

  • @Uzurr69 Cuz conservatives are eeevil, amiright? They just HATE those poor people! And minorities! And old people! And humanity as a whole! And the middle class! And immigrants! I know, cuz TYT and a bunch of other Lefties told me so! And demonizing half the country cuz they're our political opponents is totally not a hateful thing to do, no, no, cuz THEY are the haters! The people demonizing them said so! There's no counter argument, either, cuz who ya gonna believe: The eeevil conservatives??

  • @Tuhljin You nknow what silly! Go listen any republican speak they are against the poor. They are not against immagrants they hire them they are crooks.

  • @carnypimp What are you, 12? Your comment is entirely intellectually bankrupt - on several levels.

"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it."

    - Benjamin Franklin

Franklin must have been PURE EVIL, amiright? Pathetic lying smearmongering Lefties.

  • @Tuhljin Oh really what about the many times Jefferson wrote about the poor being the rich mans burden so there for there job to satisfy the hunger. Anyway whatever you nut jobs believe the church would better take care of the poor than government with expired food and second hand clothes. Hell why don't you even go further just give them all sheds to live in with a portapotty fucktards!

  • @DeepSouth16

    You mad?

  • When bohner says "the American people", who the f•ck is he talking about?

  • I wouldn't call it liberal on taxes and budget cuts. I'd call it having common sense.

  • @Nab314 That's kind of what I thought. lol. Basically, Americans are just continuing to agree with FDR.

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk Why should working people like teachers have their jobs cut to give the wealthy tax breaks that create deficits? It's not only immoral, it's economically unsound.

  • I don't disagree with you guys that much, and trust me when I say that some social programs like healthcare and tax division will work. It's just that I want to know where the poles came from. So I ask, where did the pole results come from and what pole?

If you could let me know I would appreciate it.

  • @ZapAnimator It's an NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll. The Wall Street Journal doesn't fuck around on polls.

  • @ToTheConquered Okay, I can kinda take "Wall Street Journal" as acceptable. However, I'm skeptical about th NBC part. I mean NBC is a 70% left leaning news source, so I don't know. If it were a pew poll than I would understand. Just please clarify the legitimacy of the poll a bit please and then I think I may side with you.

(PS. I'm not trying to be mean. I just want to know.)

  • @ZapAnimator I'm not sure honestly. I just looked at the info in the description of the video.

  • @ToTheConquered I'm just curious to know if it's legit and not skewed slightly to the left in some way. To be fair I'm 50/50 on this issue and need an Ice breaker. However, thanks for what help you have provided.

  • @ZapAnimator "To be fair I'm 50/50 on this issue and need an Ice breaker."

With respect, you shouldn't rely on polls for your opinion. Inform yourself and form your own opinion. The better you arm yourself with facts the more unassailable your position, regardless of which way the polls blow.

  • @ZapAnimator are you joking? WSJ is now owned by Rupert Murdoch...do you not think that there is just a slight bias coming out of that camp? I have news for you, in most democracies, NBC would be considered fairly right wing.

  • @HugeJohn51 Okay dude, chill. I understand, just please don't sound like your going ballistic. I just fell that MSNBC is a little too left wing often times. That doesn't mean I disagree. It just means I don't agree 100%, which should be fair enough.

  • @ToTheConquered -'... The Wall Street Journal doesn't fuck around on polls ...'-

    -

I dis agree on that, but :

  • @blevr1234 "The largest most profitable corporations ever [Oil oligarchy]"

You echo chamber drones keep repeating that drivel yet the facts and statistics never back you up. Big Soda has a far higher profit margin than "Big Oil" ever did. Same for many other industries. Do you even know HOW to have an intellectually honest debate? Or are you just blind demagogues?

  • @blevr1234 - yes, it looks like tthe oil companies will make billions more this yr than last - Is it really necessary to give them billions more in taxpayer dollars?

  • @DillonDee1

    -

    YES DESPICABLE ... isn'y it !

And they cut-back 4 Billion $ on education; as were are -'even falling behind developing nations'- !

    take care

  • @blevr1234 -- yes, they're cutting education & food programs & health problems for the poor so they can get more money to the super-rich - the top 1% - who already have 46% of the Financial Wealth of the country.

  • @blevr1234

I bet you hate Twitter since you're only allowed 140 characters per post.

To your point about democracy, what I'm saying is that minority rights have to be respected as well, whether it be blacks, disabled, and yes, even the rich. Democracy isn't as simple as just "majority rules". Regarding your point about progressive taxation, most people, including me, would agree with you. The issue is to what degree.

    Don't be so impressionable.

  • Yes! Raise my taxes! And give them to the schools!

  • 5:00 We did that in 9th grade American Goverment. 9th graders are getting the exact same results as the american people. We all agree. Except the people in office. We need some younger people in there!

  • does anyone know any girls who look like Ana Kasparian? seriously? and who have tits like her?

  • I don't understand why rich people don't feel they are contributing a great deal when we tax them. Fuck if I was rich I would feel guilty having that big of a slice from the pie, all while a billion people are starving right now as we speak. Damn the greedy bastards, they can never be rich enough. Once you think about it there is no difference between a rich man profiting millions off wall street and a crack fiend chasing the dragon. The only difference is one of them is 'admirable'.

  • @crypticnivek

It could be because they're selfish bastards who would rather spend the money on Lear Jets Rolls-Royce's $90.000 wrist watches and 5 or 6 ultra luxury vacations taken bi-monthly to places like Aspen, Monte Carlo and The Bahamas instead of contributing to the common good.

  • Obviously if you ask a poor man if he wants to tax some rich people he's going to say yes.

  • too bad fox news doesnt use these polls but makes their owns

  • The country's moderate.

The reason these findings come off as "Liberal" is because the politicians have gone so far to the right that, by comparison, the people come off as communists.

  • @Saaduk92 not every liberal is a communist. In fact most aren't. I am liberal and I think we need a healthy balnce between the two sides. Keep capitalism but also keep social security but regulate it by making people who want wel fare take drug tests or comething like that. We can't just completely get rid of social security. it is just not possible. If you think "liberal" means socialist, then I could easily call a conservative "fascist"

  • @Mrinthewest

I've no idea how you got "All Liberals are commies" from my comment.

  • THE BOTTOM LINE IS AMERICA HAS SPOKEN, WHAT IS THE REPUBLICANS GOING TO DO ABOUT IT....

  • @ddman10001 Please, the problem was the Republicans at first. The tax cut for rich people, is just fucking stupid, thank you Bush!!! But the Democrats aren't fighting like they should or better yet like they promised!!!

  • @ddman10001 Please, the problem was the Republicans at first. The tax cuts for rich people, is just fucking stupid, thank you Bush!!! But the Democrats aren't fighting like they should or better yet like they promised!!!

  • Anyone got links to these polls?

  • @nomis101uk says it in the description section

  • very nice mr. cenk. straight to the point. guess it's time to make our voices be heard

  • I wish Cenk would replace 'liberal' and 'conservative' with 'left wing' and 'right wing'. These terms have been twisted beyond recognition in the US and have taken on opposite meanings in some cases. The 'centre-right' party in Australia is called the Liberal Party of Australia!

  • Kudos on the ad for Carbonite. Fox News has a sponsor for a different online back up company. Its better to support the TYT contributor, Carbonite, than to buy into a company that helps Fox News.

  • If 77% of the people think government workers should be able to unionize then 77% of the people are morons and should not be allowed to vote. They are not bargaining against for-profit organizations. They are bargaining with politicians that want to get re-elected and could care less about the taxpayers money. It should be obvious to everyone that government is fiscally irresponsible plus they do not have to fund their promises today. It is all pay as you go.

  • The teachers unions are a joke. They have failed our children so the system is broke. They should be toast and be replaced by merit pay. The good teachers should be paid much more. The bad teachers should be fired. The teachers union want them all to be paid the same and the bad teachers should be allowed to continue failing our children.

  • @666sigma

Children fail themselves. It's their duty and responsibility to do their work, study, and pass.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

True and the parents are really to blame for that. However, you fail to realize that even those who study and work hard in the public schools are getting a shitty education compared to Canada, Europe, China, Korea, Japan and many other developing nations.

The teachers union's primary job is to ensure that its members are not subject to competition. No amount of money thrown at the education will improve things until teachers are rewarded based on performance.

  • @666sigma Yes. The only problem with this is that there is no real way to evaluate teachers. A simple standard exam or a performance review by supervisors all have inherent problems that make it difficult to practically implement. Believe it or not, this discussion has been going on for quite a while. Once researchers can find a way to appropriately and objectively evaluate teacher's performances, I'm sure we can pay teachers according to merit. Soon, I hope.

  • @666sigma the same should be done for big corporations like BP and others who damage the environment, they also should be toast, they should not be getting tax breaks, what do u say?

  • @ddman10001

BP should be toast because there is no way that they can pay for all the damage that they have done. But Gulf is also the failure of government. There drilling restrictions are stupid and they unwillingness to enforce the strictest of standards. The stupid bastards never asked themselves what would happen if there was a leak a mile down and 50 miles out. Yep, they sure saved the shoreline from damage. DUMBocrats.

  • @666sigma

Right wing extremists want to prevent 77% of people from voting and form a religious theocracy. This is nothing like what your founding fathers envisioned.

Thank You for being honest about what you really want.

  • @cartoeratos

    right, right, right

Religious zealots make up a small percentage of the right wing "extremists". They are all racist and want to expand the military. That is like saying that left wing democrats are all gay, black and on welfare.

    Grow up.

I do admit that it is rather humorous watching statists like you trying to debate the issues now that you have run out of other people's money to spend.

  • @666sigma

You clearly stated that 77% of people should not be able to vote. How does this in any way reflect what the founding fathers wanted?

  • @cartoeratos -- for our founding fathers women could not vote, nor could slaves & for some areas early-on there were requirements on property ownership or a poll tax - so that likely eliminated about 77% of the people.

  • @DillonDee1

Fair enough. I am still not convinced that 666sigma's suggestion of the suppression of 77% of the people is a defensible position from a person who claims their guiding philosophy is liberty.

  • @cartoeratos Did you know that in 1788 when there was 4 million people in the US only 39 thousand( the rich white males) were allowed to vote. Our founders had great ideas, we should remember them for the positive things they did but also remember, people were less tolerant back in those days, to white men, women and minorities were shit. So please don't pretend that our founders were perfect.

  • @666sigma What the unions do is separate from the basic right to be able to unionize. Just like the first amendment is abused, legally, by so many people and groups. Just because it produces horrific results doesn't mean the principle itself should be abandoned. The rise and fall of unions coincide with the rise and fall of the middle class, so let's not ignore that. But yes, unions can and often do more harm than good to society and our economy. If only we didn't need unions in the first place.

  • @666sigma well if you don't agree with most of the American public then you should move to china, you are the moron

  • we have to cut something. It would be better to cut a little bit everywhere

  • lmao he should say the MAJORITY of American people, but otherwise good statistics.

  • Nobody said defense...interesting.

  • Read the Federalist 10. It's about the dangers of faction and why we have a REPUBLIC instead of a DEMOCRACY. It highlights the dangers of letting a mob of people decide on what to do with other people's money. Educate yourself.

  • @hallavast Only total rw crackpots babble about evil Democracy versus good Republic, We don't have mob rule so take your silly word games and shove it.

  • @hallavast So you're in favor of creating deficits through tax breaks for the rich, then making lower income people make "sacrifices" that do little or nothing to help the economy?

  • @hallavast

Not a democracy? Are you sure about that? I'm a Canadian but I am pretty sure representative democracy is part of your republic. Society has raise money somehow. Taxes are not theft they are fee for services rendered. Just think about how different your life would be had you not been born in the developed world. Unfortunately taxes and laws are the price we pay for civilization!

  • @cartoeratos We are not a Democracy. We are a Republic. Call it a representative Democracy if you want, but I will call it a Republic. There is a huge difference and I refuse to call America a Democracy, the very thing our forefathers fought to prevent.

  • So, remind me.....How did these clowns get elected?

  • It makes me wonder.....America is a HUGE paradox. They KNOW how to cut the budget....yet vote exactly OPPOSITE of their interests.

  • The American public can make these decisions because they're free to focus on the problem. Real politicians spend most of their time running for office, i.e. getting money. I don't see how anyone functions in the retarded lie factory that is our political world today. We're at one of those moments Jefferson talked about, where we need to take it apart and put it back together again. The level of overall misery needs to be just a little higher - the next financial crisis s/ manage it.

  • @FeelFreeToArgue I wish we were that free. Unfortunately many of us, or at least certain demographics, are under heavy influence from certain media outlet(s) that strongly distorts our perception of what reality is. But you are right, there are a lot of things about our country that would be better ofs being taken apart and put back together again. Too bad corporate interests have so much power.

  • US, GTFO OF IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN.

  • yes raise the taxes on rich. awesome. beautiful. and get the fuck out of afghan and iraq.

  • More misuse of the word "liberal"

  • @SerenityNoww Because "Realistic" has become the "Liberal" thanks to the political shift to the Far right. To be honest I don't really see these poll results as "Liberal" either, just seems like logical conclusions that any reasonable person would come to. It's sad that the political center has shifted so far right that people actually consider the poll's results as liberal. It just goes to show how many clowns are too busy playing politics and are not in touch with reality.

  • @TadaHanJan

Well, whether the poll is about realistic opinion or logic is one thing. But the way Cenk and a lot of people in the USA seem to use the term "liberal" is as a blanket term to cover BOTH Social Liberalism and Left leaning economic issues. Liberal is certainly not a fair term to use to cover both someone's economic and social opinions since neither informs nor is directly linked to the other.

  • @SerenityNoww Exactly! There is so much blanket categorization going on in politics, trying to group people in to certain categories so that politicians can rally their supporters more effectively and efficiently. Just look at the Tea Party. Any one with half a brain knows that it is not what it started out as, and has now been hijacked by right wing extremists in to a movement that even the GOP is scared of.

  • @TadaHanJan

Those right wing extremists founded this country and wrote the constitution. The GOP should be afraid. Every fiscally irresponsible prick in Washington should be afraid.

The big question is when will Dumbocrats wake up and realize that government is only a tool for the rich. Fiscally responsible liberals need to break with the DemocRATS. We need a third party that truly represents the middle class. At least SOME Republicans realize that their party is fucked up.

  • @666sigma I find it humorous whenever someone refers to our founding fathers, more often than not in error. The founding fathers, in contrast to what most people believe for lack of knowledge, were not conservative right wing extremists, considering that they were revolutionaries trying to bring about change for a new era. But yes, every fiscally irresponsible prick in Washington should be afraid. So should every ethically and morally irresponsible prick. The people have spoken clearly on that.

  • Defence...heh...I wonder what the polls would look like if it was called "attack". We need to cut Invasion spending!

  • Fix the vid uplink, please. The cut-outs are getting close to unbearable.

  • how bout we cut the CEO's of big businesses salaries and have that to prop us up even if only a tiny bit

  • shouldn't there be laws in place to prevent the politicians from doing exactly what the people don't want them to do?

  • @MrIonization Yes, there should be.

  • This issue will come to a head eventually! Thank goodness I don't live in America anymore!!!

  • If they took a poll a few centuries ago asking if it was ok to own a slave, most would have said that it was. Over time people realized how disgusting, immoral and barbaric slavery was and slavery was abolished

If they take a poll today and ask if its OK to threaten people with violence to take their money, many will say that it is. Over time people will realize how disgusting, immoral and barbaric robbery is and the Government will be abolished

  • @FumingPoliticalPunk - I hate when people bring the non-science of economics in to the discussion. Economics isn't a science! It's demonstrable that it's not a science.

How long have economists been trying to understand bubbles?

After a weekend of study, sociologists understood bubbles perfectly. But after two centuries, economists still couldn't figure them out? WTF!?

Economics is just as much science as astrology! There's your sign!

  • You know where the american people are? They are getting shafted hard up the ass by bought out politicians.

  • The US spends at least 7 times as much as China spends on the military.

  • @cheddyrod

And China could still give us one hell which i find laughable since we spend SO much on military.

  • Ok, so this goes against the typical narrative that the working class votes for tax cuts because they imagine that they will get rich. But then why to they keep voting republican?

  • @rsrs17 That is a very good question. I think there is something about the Republican narrative that appeals to many Americans even when they disagree about specific Republican policies. People don't think rationally about the facts and do detailed analysis of issues. Republicans have been very good at preaching a compelling narrative. Between facts and narrative, the latter will always win. George Lakoff talks about this failure of how liberal Democrats use language.

  • There goes the Majority again....Our government was set up for "We the People" but there is just too much money going to the people at the bottom. Why don't we look at some "trickle up" ...oh, but that would require CEO's and Stock Holders to budge.

  • Schweiz is the only country that has a democracy.

  • Seriously I take what u guys say with a grain of salt. U guys are usless when it comes to political views. U preached on side n condemned the other. Learn to do middle ground or show the hate on both. U guys have freedom of speech but ur abusing it. People should take ur word like jon stewart as a joke. Seriously I hope u get banned n I hope they remove u from the media completely. Obama is our mistake Biden is a nightmare of stupidity. There only distraction is attacking palin. She is out.

  • Just ask the rep-dem (it means in the USA the same) party. They would say: one step away from socialism... This poll says it all. The politicians don't work for you ,never have! You will be called enemy of the USA if you think family, education, jobs and retirement are more important than WAR and the fake Chinese threat.

  • Quit Saying we live in a democracy, retard.

  • @Orion1232 ....You prefer just a "Republic" even though from day one we have the "electro college" which is still in effect? Seems you are an air head that prefers to misinterpret the American Ideology to your own parties thinking...which is pure FASCIST-REPUCKEEECAN

  • @joraejean You're obviously retarded too. We are not a democracy.

  • @Orion1232 We are a Republic. Do I get a star?

  • Trying to outspend us on Defense is what brought down the USSR partly (among many other factors such as, in reality, communism can't work). Surely you would think that Conservatives would und... oh right! Reagan standing there yelling at a wall is what terrified them so much that they failed, not Defense spending. My mistake.

  • With how much we spend on defense, it's as if we're the world government trying to defend against alien invasions from outer space. But we can't even prevent a terrorist attack from occurring on US soil?

  • @TTEchidna That's because our military is useless. It hasn't been reorganized since WWII. It's why we failed in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and, in fact, Vietnam. Our entire military is set up to invade a state and fight against a professional army. In the modern world there are no professional armies to fight, and our enemies do not conform to the boundaries of a state. A smaller, cheaper, more fluid force is what we desperately need, but we'll never get it since defense contractors don't want i

  • Hey Cenk that pole also said that the american people supported raising the retirement age for recipients of social security to age 69, and also they said that public sector workers should contribute more to their pensions and health care reform,

stop being Cenk puppets and challenge him on his BS

  • Dear Barrak Obama:

This is your last chance before a primary opponent. Step up, or step aside.

  • I took the poll and had a -600B budget and increased benefits for social security by 25%, gave about 30B more to education, 20B to science, and 15 for medical research.

See Obama and Republicans.. not that fucking hard.

  • America knows the Cold War is over but it acts like it is undergoing some PTSD where they still fear and want to totally avoid any policies that remind them of their old commie enemies. There are no real winners in wars now.

  • What is really needed in this country is a truly liberal president to drag this country by the throat kicking and screaming back towards the center of the political spectrum and away from the center right BS that now pervades our political discourse.

We need to root the religious right and all of their uneducated fundie christian ilk out of power then kill their culture war which has been distracting the country for the last thirty years and sidestepping the true issues that face us today.

  • You making huge generalizations here.

  • China has a huge budget surplus, not a deficit, yet it spends far less on defense/military than the US does - true story. Perhaps that is how it has been able to take HALF A BILLION people out of poverty in less than 20 years!

Mathmattically, if the US was a quarter as good as China - 125 million people would have been lifted out of poverty since 1990...

  • @crocfme But don't forget that this is largely due to its liberalization of the markets and shift towards consumer capitalism. Just for perspective's sake, that's all.

  • @crocfme China has a large military. Since they pay squat, money wise it looks small

  • @crocfme

Yea, and allowing modern day slavery of their own people thru Job Exportation..

Google Foxconn City and tell me about how much China loves its people...

  • @crocfme So the millions rural farmers aren't in poverty? I don't think the standards of poverty are the same in China as they are here. Yes your right about defense spending
