I remember this like it was yesterday. My heart will forever go out to the families of the lakewood Police dept. These brave 4 people risked their lives for the community of lakewood. I remember when they gave their all to help my daughter who was 17, they had come out to my apt to help me find my baby girl from running away. I can never thank them enough for what they had done for her. These people will remain in my heart forever.

3 radio calls for each officer lost said it all. "...gone but not forgotten..." thank you to all that attended today. I watched from home all day with my 2yr old son. It was hard to think of the children left behind (but not forgotten). Thank your local police next time you see them. I will. I do. To all lost in tragedy , I salute you.
gone but not forgotten, I attended their funeral today in uniform and I was honored to witness history. It was a beautiful celebration of the lives that these officers had and gave, RIP
