  • It looks like all that drinking finally kicked in....poor Meiko and Kaito

  • I remember loving this song when Vocaloid was still new to me, and my English was still pretty bad. And now I'm watching this again, and finally I understand everything.

All of my tears. All of my tears.

  • He sounds so HUMAN. And this is KAITO we're talking about! Freaking KAITO! Brilliant. Most human sounding song from Kaito I've heard, really.

I'm not even a KaitoxMeiko fan (Found this song via TVTropes), but that doesn't stop it from being a lovely and touching song, though. :)

  • *sniffles* I sounds like he's about to cry T^T

  • Aww, Meiko's so pretty in here! But she just had to die... QAQ *sob*

  • OMG SO FREAKIN SAD!!!!!!!!!!! >o< T^T I love the background music so much. btw I think this song is the first one that actually fits Kaito's voice. Very nicely done whoever composed it. ^-^

  • wow good song, which its name?

  • @RedMew4ever It is called Houraika, as entitled at the top of the video. If the name is translated to english, it means Winter Daphne. It is sung by Kaito. I hope that helps. ^^

  • aww that was so beautiful! T ^ T kaitoxmeiko is so awesome!

  • i have a question O.O" how come when kaito say's 花 in this video, he doesn't sound like he's saying the full word "Hana"? it sound's like he's saying "Fa" which is Chinese pronunciation of the word 花 (flower). i could be wrong ^-^".... but overall this song is awesome xD

  • The official pronunciation for the title is "Houraika" ( 花 is sometimes pronounced by its on-reading, ka, eg 山茶花 = さざんか)

But yeah I hear houraihua, the chinese pronunciation too, that'd be because the P is Taiwanese XD

  • To find the official reading for almost any Vocaloid song title:

Go to " ," type in the song title in the search bar, click on the song title out of the list they give you, and you'll arrive at the song's info+lyrics page. In the upper-right of the page, near where the song tags are displayed, they give you the reading of the song in hiragana.

This one says "ほうらいか" in the upper right, so hokori's right.. :)

  • Sorry. Go to "Hatsune Miku wiki."

  • ohh i see ^-^ that's cool =D!

  • Definitely a new favorite. Thank you ^ ^

  • truely beautiful! TT-TT

  • What a touching song! Beautiful tune, too...

    Thanks for uploading.~ <3

  • Ahhhhh, that's sad. I wonder what she died from though?

  • @VampiressSilecene Meiko ate Daphne berries, which are very poisonous. Or so I think, because the title has "Daphne" in it...

  • @Nar2211 I took it as she was dying very slowly of an illness, without showing it to her lover/husband Kaito, because she wanted him to be happy and not worry. (Of course, this backfired when she collapsed without warning, and Kaito was all "WTF D:") She's compared to a winter daphne--winter flower--because she was beautiful and faded too quickly (also, I think, because she died just before spring).

  • Another amazing song. But...what exactly is it about? I must be a clueless idiot or something..xD

  • Painter and a his wife who died on their wedding night while he was painting her.

(don't ask me who in the world spends their wedding night painting tho XD )

  • A reeeeeeally sentimental artist? xD

  • That was so sad. But I always love vidoes with KaitoXMeiko

  • tons of thankies♥
