  • Very good guys!

  • @Vincentdeep Thank you Vince!! Rob

  • Another performance that blows me away! Bass and guitar are hot... Love the crying! I just can't get over how incredible the singer is without giving up anything on drums. Excellent at both.

  • Thanks Tracy!! Yeah Yves is extremely talented.

    Rob

  • Superb, as asual. Your drummer does a great job on the Jim Dewar vocals... great band!

  • For what do you use a chorus pedal? I'm really into Hendrix/Trower and other blues rock sounds, but I can't fing a good use of chorus pedal....I also got a delay that I rarely use....one more question, do you think that fulltone 70 is a good fuzz for Trower,Hendrix sounds? I can buy 69 or 70...but I'm afraid that 69 is maybe too much like an overdrive....? I have ts for overdrive....

by the way you have one great band, and great tone!

  • Thanks!

i'm sending you a message as i don't think i have enough space here to answer you :D

    Rob

  • what is on your pedal board?

  • It's always changing, especially for the dirt boxes. These a vid on this channel where you can see my board. Usually a go from my guitar to a Vox wah, a fuzz (could be anything from an AM to a Maxon SD9) an Octafuzz, TC chorus, a Fulltone Vibe, an overdrive (here again anything goes. TS808, or 9 even a compressor sometimes. anything that will boost the front end of my amp) and a Boss DM3 that i use sometime for swells or weird "UFO" sounds.

    Rob

  • yeah i have a vox wah a chorus a delay and am getting a fuzz soon but your setup sounds great what amp are you using? Im currently using an orange dual terror and a ppc212 cab

  • Sounds like a cool setup. I've got a lt of amps and i'm using anything from a "blackface" Deluxe (that's what i'm using on this vid) to a JCM 800. On a lot of the old stuff on this channel i'm playing through a '72 Marshall with a 2x12 JCM 800 cab with original G12-65 (i think it used to be a bass cab). These days i'm using a Hiwatt Custom 50.

  • yeah the sound is great

  • Rob you guys rock funky.....Rob I'ff got me the Chicago Iron Tychobrahe PedalFlanger comin' in that I just ordered ....a new toy I can't wait.....peace brother.....Freddie

  • Montreal is top of my list of places to go :-)

  • A true gentilhomme.Merci.

  • well thank you Sir Paul!!

    Rob

  • That was a fantastic evening! We don't see you often, but I never want to miss it when you play at the Bistro.

At the end of the song, when you started soloing, I was wondering who was playing the guitar chords. I could'nt believe it when I noticed the bassman was playing the chords and the bass run at the same time. Very impressive... U too by the way!!! :-) Only negative point... you don't want to teach me :(

  • Merci Michel,

    Rob

  • Extraordinaire performance!

    Bravo les gars.

  • Pretty cool riffs bro...... hey check my rendition of this on my page....Ray 5/5

  • Jamming it, guys!!! Great show

  • Thanks you sooo much Bro!!

    Rob

  • Awesome jam, Robert !

I love that wah wah sound !

    Stu

  • finaly dude! Smokin' as usual i hope this is just the start of a flood of videos!

No pressure or anything buddy :P

  • Thank you Ben!! well, we don't have much from that show, just parts of songs (this is the only complete one from start to finish) which is a good thing as my playing is more that a little suspect at times, like playing a fret above the actual key and sticking with it , or making up lyrics lol!! we were into our "groove drinking" mode, but the vibe in the place was so great that i decided to post it anyway warts and all :)

    Rob

  • Man, when everyones had a few drinks and the atmosphere is good nobody cares aslong as your melting brains and having fun.

  • right said mate!! "chick for nothin' and the booze for free!!" wasn't what that song said? :D

    Rob

  • Haha it was Money for nothing and your chicks for free... Dire Straits dude! my fav band after Unkle Groove of course!

  • Rob thats a great performance by Unkle Groove, you jammin'that guitar, what kind effects are you using on this song ? ....peace...[[Freddie]]

  • thanks Freddie!!

well it's the the usual guys, a Vox wah and a Fulltone Deja Vibe, and the drive comes from a Love Pedal White Dragon. it's a cool pedal that let you go from a Dallas Rangemaster to a Fuzz Face depending on where you set the blend knob and drive. i set the blend sort of in beween... i'm not taking any chances :D

    Rob

  • Let us not forget that thi is live people.

    WOW!!!
