I believe there have been transgressions on both sides. Most of the occupiers and police are within the law, with just a few, on both sides, making things worse. What happened in Oakland, the occupiers have done things they shouldn't, blocking the ports, and a small minority have attacked the police. In these cases, the occupiers were wrong. In UC Davis(?), with the cop spraying the protestors, the cops were in the wrong.

One of the people that attention should be returned to and focused on is Alan Greenspan. Why hasn't he been called on the carpet? I know he was out in 06 but the Wall Street shenanigans were in full swing during his tenure. We trusted him to keep his fingers on the pulse of the economy and he failed us miserably, criminally. O'Reilly was never a journalist and never will be. Like Michael Savage says,"Bill O'Reilly went to Inside Edition and he never left." As for John Stewart, He's got my vote for a Pulitzer Prize! He ain't perfect but he's 1000 times better than 98% of FOX News ( Only exceptions are Judge Napalitano and Neil Cavuto.)

dude I appreciate your analysis. your questions are thoughtful. the occupy movement is successful at changing political debate so far. i don't think it can do what you suggest until more of the 99% have the rude awakening that they are not really of the 1%. Most clients of firms like MF Global WILL NOT get 'the first call' the Koch brother did to move their funds before hell breaks loose. We love status in all its forms and most are unwilling to give up what little they have accumulated.

As Al Sharpton and Paul Krugman said, the Occupy Movement is at least TRYING to get people to remember who started the financial crisis and it wasn't Obama. That is what they conservative right wing Republican propagandists want some people to think and stupid sheep type people have been repeating the B.S. for the entire time of President Obama's term in office. Bill O'Reilly is a well known liar who uses the excuse that what he does is entertainment & admits it isn't real news.
