  • The mikes are for amplification or for recording?

Is your Carrington guitar loud enough to fill a medium size hall (~400 seats)?

  • Fantastic version! I love especially the fact that it is very focused in the interpretation and less in the technique and virtuosity. Sorry if my english is bad.

  • Thank you for your attention. You have already helped me by turning my attention to this inspired performance of Villa-Lobos. I love the way you let the music flow naturally yet find the right time and tone for each note. Truly an example to be followed... You deserve your Smallman which serves you wonderfully. Best wishes,

    Gergely

  • Lukynner - Thanks for your comment. I was in the Czech Republic about 3 years ago. I was playing concerts in Germany and my host took me there for a day. Your English is better than my Czech.

  • This music is awesome... everybody can have his own version of this piece of music, but your version is the best, what I heard. I am learning the preludium at this time too.

I am sorry for my english, because I am from small city of the Czech republic, so I can´t english good.

  • Great version of this wonderful piece of music.

Love your playing. By the way, you have a great guitar! what a great sound! so soft and warm. Hope to have one like yours.

  • To be a 'disciple' of .Segovia gives you a good foundation -but instead of building just a '2 or 3 storey house' like most other students of the Maestro, you have built a 'castle' of guitar playing.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • What a generous thing to say. Thank you so much for the kind remark. Chris

  • You visited my guitar class taught by Mr. V

I'm the one who asked about vibratos.

    Otherwise, this is beautiful!

  • I'll look forward to visiting ALC again soon.

  • Really good Chris. Really, really good! But then I kind of expected it would be.

  • Thanks Sam. That means a lot to me coming from you. I'd love to hear you on YouTube, too.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • im currently working on this piece and i cant wait to finish it!

i just started on it (literally) like only on the 5th line.

that ridiculous 1st position run is hard!!

    you play this magnificent though!

    keep up the good work.

  • One of the best Prelude No 2's I ever heard!

    Thanks very much!

    Andreas

  • Thanks Andreas.

  • Great sound and interpretation! Very enjoyable video. I'm curious as to why you put "Smallman" in your tags? Is the guitar based on a Smallman?

  • Thanks again! What a cool way to connect with musicians around the world.

  • Thanks frenibas. You are the first to comment. I'm happy you enjoyed it. Chris
