I have a mind experiment which show a problem with Einstein space - time. Imagine the universe consisted of two space crafts having identical mass. One stood still and the other traveled close to the speed of light. The question is, time slowed down for which space craft? If there are only two space craft in the Universe, how do you know which one is travel and which one is at rest? Maybe they both are traveling at half the speed of light. This is a mind problem that space-time can't solve.

I think you have good points concerning your red shift interpretation as it relates to the change of position of the salt shaker and conservation of energy. And I believe that your implication is that the mass of the shaker will increase by the value of the energy / mass lost in the movement of the shaker from position one to position two. However your implication that it is impossible to define the aether due to the very nature of the aether itself is limiting on the structure of the entire VRM

maybe gravity doesnt pull or push just clumps together with the smaller parts moving more freely until it connects with the bigger part which are more stable as they arnt as much affected by frequency as smaller the particles.
