Why does it seem like people are so obsessed with what he uses? Do you not think he could do just as well in Paintool Sai or PS7? what he uses has nothing to do with anything his skill is there regardless right...i mean.. idgi
Well i asked because i wanna know and try as many program as possible. To see which one i actually love most 8D Since i draw too. U get what i mean? Kim Hyun Tae is my favorite artist out from all i know, So i wanting to know what he is using is not that weird... I know that no matter what u use, is based on your talent, but i like to find the right tool to suit the talent~
Hyung Tae Kim sketches in pencil, scans into Adobe Photoshop to clean up his pencil lines then switches to Coral painter to do his colouring. (I found this out through interviews with him and some pictures where he shows his process)
In case people were wondering. He's using Painter 9 likely, due to the interface. The brushes he has are available in Painter. It's just variants. For the Digital Watercolor, he's using Simple water, but set the brush method to cover (so you need to change it). It appears he's using the cover pencil as well just by the way colors are being laid down for blocking, and likely the digital airbrush for softening and effects.
The program, like others says, its Painter, probably in the video he is using the old Painter6, but it does´t matter because You could use the new Painter XII, the artist in the video uses the Simple Water brush, in the Painter XII can be found in the Digital Water Color brushes, bye.
Painter 6 doesn't have this interface (the toolbox is one clue, and the fact that the brush selector bar is part of the top interface is another) this is likely to be Painter 9
@elOmarito i know very well how Japanese and Korean sounds like and the guy is speaking Korean and no one can draw/paint EXACTLY like him u can tell just by looking at the traditional lineart and the way he paints!!
@elOmarito its korean, actually this video its from a korean rpg web page, you can even see part of the commands in painter in korean, the guy doing this tutorial, and the coloring its Really Kim
@lullehss itd the proyector, this is not doen in a computer screen its in a class room with a proyector to a wall, it changes because lighting in the room its changing, you can heard people moving, alsothe camera its not that really good either
super good you are very good to paint but I could not understand the video as you paint that at one point jumps and is almost finished and I ask you please if you explain in a way as to make the whole process, so it's writing, please I have wanted to paint muhas so well
@MrMiguel090909 i think at the last part he was just demonstrating how the different positions of the light source affects the drawing, so he just showed a previously colored one as an example.
i am mind boggled, he didn't even use layers and it's flawless... :O
...single layer.... o.o
