@jamescbirtwistle It depends what you use it for, but in most countries, ripping copyrighted content is against the law. I think some countries allow you to rip media to keep as a personal backup, however.

@jamescbirtwistle In Theory, if you use it for your own personal use you will be fine. If you distribute the files then you will be in trouble with the law.

Handbreak is crap I have been using it for a year or 2 but it has recently started fucking the movies up and sticking different parts of the movie all over the place, I recommend you find a replacement incase the same thing happens to you :) hope this helps Ryan,

@fors95 The "sticking different parts of the movie all over the place" that you describe is the encoder. Try changing the format or use some other codecs. :)
