  • Pumpkins are amazing; my love for them will never die!

Im trying to get my music out PLEASE help me! I would appreciate anything you guys do check my channel at! <3 to all you! and the pumpkins!

  • this is my teenage anthem, I was like 13 when this song came out, just hearing the opening chords takes me back. The 90's where awesome, and all I could think was how I couldnt wait for the future, lol, well the future sucks infinitely more than I could have imagined. The 90's god if I could go back, there was still an energy of change, rebellion and Im rambling like the burnout I am... Kids, stay off drugs.

  • GRAZIE Billy!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • 8 people never have the time

  • Thank you Billy and ex-pumpkins.

  • I was born in 1979.

  • Am i the only one who's from GTA 4?

  • @Smorz33 yup

  • @Smorz33 how is gta the only reason u heard of this song? god u must live under a rock

  • @SomeRandomYoungster

lol I agree. And smorz if you havent heard any other SP songs go check them out :)

  • @SomeRandomYoungster so you think everyone in the world knows this song? god you must be a fucking retard..

  • Best album ever

  • the 90's must have been the best time ever. i was born in 94 so i could not enjoy it. damm i missed out i guess haha

  • I miss the 90's so fucking much :/ .

  • Great song. Wish I could be able to see the original smashing pumpkins play together...

  • Why does Billy Corgan remind me of PVT Pile from Full Metal Jacket in this video? Lol.

  • Gta 4 ;d

  • Ok i understand growing up in a certain generation makes you particular to the music it created, and i have to say i grew up in the late 80's/early 90's. Do kids that were born in the 2000's really like all this pop shit thats coming out? (bieber and all that other shit). Because if you do like it, than i am no better than my father and mother, they saw smashing pumpkins and nirvana as a no talent shit band and i thought they were gods.

  • @airmanfair no lol i grew up with music from the 60s too 90s and if people dont like my music i play it louder

  • @airmanfair , what you wrote is great, I always wonder the same thing. its all in the eye of the beholder. These songs were my best times, careless, working 12hrs a week and had nothing but time. This era was my time, I miss it.

  • I graduated High School in 1979.....think they're definitely trying to recreate the feel of that era in this video, and they did a very good job getting the whole "vibe" of those times!

  • tuna fish

  • 1994 fuckerrrrs!

  • Hey these are great times were living in Bros. Were jolly green giants, walking the world, with GUNS! These people we wasted here today are the finest people in the world. When we rotate back to the real world were not gonna have any body worth killing! The 90s were great, but this is our time now lets make the bets of it. Wishful thinking wont bring us back. The closest we can get to the 90s is by remaking it, and listening to its music. Im gonna fuck the shit out of the 90s.

  • I was born in '79. Went from Ireland to San Francisco for 2 months one summer mid nineties. First album I bought. Still amazing to this day. So was San Fran!!!

  • I was born in '79. Went from Ireland to San Francisco for 2 months one summer mid nineties. First album I bought. Still amazing to this day. So was San Fran!!!

  • wish i was a teenager in the 90's looked like a lotta fun...

    life isnt fair!!!

  • i like it all

  • I detest this video showing teenagers breaking the law and wreaking havoc, ladies and gentlemen, these juvenille delinquents are the failures of tomorrow; they'll either be in prison, dead, or working a job that pays very little and on welfare, or not even having a job. Someday, they'll regret it!

  • @thehoosierfortheUK hey, dont dis the vid, this song is a recollection and an overview of peoples youth, and it is supposed to be beutiful. and who made you superior enough to judge us all of the sudden?

  • The song and video is about life in an era when we had freedom to enjoy being alive and carefree times, Life after 9/11 has changed for the worse. The 70's & 80's were the best!

  • Cuando esta cancion salio en el los años 80 la oí unas 600 veces!

  • Such a good song that I don't even mind seeing a creepy Corgan mugshot every few seconds.

  • 1995 what a year!!! I was 20....

  • There couldn't be a better song for an 18 year old to enjoy his last summer before college. This song just shows how teens just don't give a fuck sometimes. Haha In a good way, of course. I'm sure you've had those memories that can relate to this song

  • This video explained so much back in the days <3 :) Missed it. Goodbye forever 1995.

  • Hey guys! If you could please check out my band's cover of this song (: It's instrumental, and we sped it up on accident by starting too fast in the beginning. But all would be appreciated :P

  • notice their bass player was born in 1979

  • This video has one of the best comment threads on youtube. So many comments worth voting up.

  • This song made me remember my childhood days

  • I like the pool scene

  • exelente

  • @DeltaDawnMarie 100% correct

  • Respond to this video...

  • This song was cool because it was for kids born in 1979 who were teens in the 90's. I lived this video a hundred times over. Now it's all about impressions and who has accomplished the most and who is skinniest at the reunion. Back then it was friendships and the park and the gas station and hot tubs and kissing.

  • @DeltaDawnMarie Im a teenager and i have the 90's childhood...or atleast your definition of a 90's childhood

  • i wish i was a teenager during those times cus i rather be in a party listening to this song instead of being here on youtube listing to it

  • 3:04 - 3:28.

That was my cousins und I a few nights ago xD

  • Most awesome song ever

  • billy needs hair!

  • Nostalgic song

  • I was born in 1995, and I envy people who lived through those teenage years

  • @Beier99 I was 15 in 95 and it was an amazing time in life and music.

  • @Beier99

I was born in '83 so i was able to experience the 90's as a kid and a teen. As kids we were very impressionable to good music. I mean the music in every genre was just amazing. What a time to live through!!

  • @Beier99

It was a beautiful time of fond memories, laid-back atitudes, GOOD TUNES, good tv shows. Nothing beat growing up in the 90's... as biased as that sounds. :)

    Cheers.

  • @Beier99 i did and fukin thank god i did...janes addiction, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, sonic youth...they just dont make em like that any more....start prayin a band comes along thats is even half as great hey

  • @Beier99 meeee too.. 94 here

  • @Beier99 im september of 93 and this song is the song for the 90's era of my life

  • Gah. I remember when life was like this.

  • @JBStutt23 It wasn't as cool as you have built it in your head. Just like the late 80's (that I barely remember) I've built in mine.

  • listened a 4 hour replay of this song

    and i still like it

  • @JBStutt23 i DID grow up in the 90's and i would STILL give anything to be reborn and live it all over again.

  • @StoliDassah Me too good times those were.

  • 1979

  • this song is so fuc*in cool

  • 420 likes? I won't fuck that up and vote. It would be cool if it stayed like that.

  • @JBStutt23 agree so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much dude...

  • clerks 2 showed me this song

  • Thank you Billy.

  • Kids these days can't appreciate good music.

  • @JBStutt23 Same here man, same here :(

  • Comment removed

  • That just looks like the absolute perfect day.

  • GTA IV.

  • @HolaDeco No Dude. Just No. This song was incredible before GTA IV

  • @AllAboutCars91 Never said it wasn't.

  • I HATE MIAMI!!!!

  • To all the kids complaining about how they hate school dances and stuff because of the awful music. Do something about it. Sitting on youtube and complaining about it isn't gonna help anything. Do what my friends and I do. At every school dance we go to we always request a few good songs and they usually will play at least one. The last dance we had they played Give it Away and everyone had a fun time. You CAN have as much fun as 90s kids did, but you have to try at least.

  • @xXrootsrockreggaeXx thats so gay. typical american

  • @leklek69 Yeah whatever at least I'm doing something about it instead of whining on the computer.

  • i wanted this song so bad that since i couldn't afford the album, i spent half a day listening to the radio to record it onto a blank cassette. now i got it on my ipod! if i only had one back in 1995.

  • @MrSomename89 1995 was THE YEAR haha.

  • @MrSomename89

You just nailed it right on the head. You know your from the '90s when you have a mixtape with the end of the radio DJ's voice over the beginning of every song and a cut off song at the end of each side of the tape.

  • @MrSomename89 Oh man. 1995 was the year. Best year of my life.

  • @MrSomename89 pretty cool username :)

  • @MrSomename89 Thanks to today's technology. it's easier to get a copy if we can't afford the original one.

  • @cheriandrea most definitely, but i would trade that anyday for the better music that existed in my time (late 80's to mid 90's)

  • @MrSomename89 man, but that's why music meant so much for us at that time.

  • @MrSomename89 i think it was better, cassette were something personal and that you had to work on it, people was really loving the music they listened to. nowadays they just tell you "check this band" and you download the whole discography, the magic was lost together with cassette...

  • Dear God, how dearly I miss the 90s....

  • @ JBStutt23 the 90's were awesome its crazy how much has changed since 1990

  • Aaaaa que tal esta... A ver más que excelente y al oirla quiero regresar el tiempo y estar con esa gente en esos lugares...

  • Why the fuck cant i share this amazing video to my facebook

Youtube has taking this too far

  • @AdisaStrictlyBidness whats the problem exactly

  • @ahpuesbru Embedded code is blocked so i cant share it on facebook ):

  • @AdisaStrictlyBidness try copying the link instead of the code and pasting into a fb post

  • @AdisaStrictlyBidness ...it works for me

  • @AdisaStrictlyBidness I just got this video from a facebook friend,so it's working OK.

  • 70k views? my eyes must be deceiving me

  • amazing steadicam work on this video, I wonder who directed. Love it.

  • @kinoeye89 Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris, Great Directors!

  • amazing steadicam work on this video, I wonder who directed. Love it.

  • Just a good song. In MY opinion most music is garbage these days and by that I mean mostly the new "pop" Artists. There is probably a million comments like this but i just wanted to state that this is a good song :) and i wish there was more music like this these days on the radio and t.v :( This song just makes me feel good. haha.

  • This is what I call good music!

  • this song was playing at my work last night and it just made me so happy for the customers i had to deal with

  • This song takes me back to the days when I was a kid growing up in the 90s, hanging out with friends on school afternoons and sitting in my backyard with my family every summer night looking at the stars. Life seemed so much happier then.

  • Listen to this song all the time. Such a chill song.

  • Shake d0:00wn 1979

  • kurt cobain and billy corgan were and are geniuses, enough said

  • that was like my teenhood, back in 95-98

  • When I die and get to see a montage of my whole life, this song will be the soundtrack.

  • @TheOriginalBoarders

touching...we see only great that we do for others...

    got to serve to deserve!!

  • 1979 is the year of the sheep!!

    theodora lau chinese horoscopes!!

  • @TheOriginalBoarders

    Awsome choice

  • Ya now MTV sucks because they hardly ever play any music on there anymore, they have alot of bullshit cheezy shows on there and when they do play videos it's late at night when people are sleeping and the music they play sucks,Theres not that many good bands out these days anymore and LadyGaga is dam clown at least I think so,shes a Madonna wannabe,I'm a huge fan of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain was a very talented musican, his unplugged conert in NY was good.

  • 2 people are fans of kurt cobain

  • @leklek69 I'm a huge Kurt Cobain fan and I love this song.. Fuck off with the Courtney jokes.

  • great song

  • MTV plays music?!

  • SexyTrack.....

  • This is what life's about.

  • @rojorulet yeah your either popular or your not witch makes a really big difference in our lives. if your not popular your probably gonna end up in a factory from self neglect kill yourself before you graduate, if you are popular that means your parent were to because they're usually rich, and you'll end up in college and with a good job. thats the way life goes my friend

  • those were the days when mainstream was good!

  • Thump Up If U see it because PS3 said

  • "we don't even care as restless as we are

We feel the pull in the land of a thousand guilts

And poured cement, lamented and assured ..." choked me up in 1996 and still does today. Beautiful song.

  • this song and video are so accurate

  • This song makes me wanna cry, it reminds me of all the good ol times.

  • Still listening in 2011.(;

  • Wow... lucky kids! They got the Pumpkins playing at their party! I got Lady Gaga playing at my parties... Damn the present musical era!

  • @JBStutt23

90`s was good man. I wish i was born in the fifties and lived throught the 60`s man.

    BLAZE ON

  • who would dislike this?????!

  • music sure has changed ):

  • WHO was this 1 dislike ?? Obviously they dont know anything .

  • A fucking tune.

  • MTV's never played music. It never was a radio station; it was a way to bring commercials to a captive audience. It always sucked, sucks now, and will suck tomorrow. Youtube is what we alway wanted and finally got.

  • pitch in 20 quid each, buy a banger , fill it full of cheap fuel, and rally it , see the country side , live life, bend the rules, be young........ the good aul days.
