Nigkas don't even flow like this no more, telln ill stories of street life that is necessarily not there own, speakn 2 the masses. Nigkas nowadkays 2 serious wit' this keep it 100 trip n a lot of these nigkas ain't real, they startedk bangkin' when they gkot a dkeal, then rap about bullshit they dkidkn't even dko, but actin' like they gkutter with wack bars n lyrics. The Lost Boys is the truth. R.I.P Freaky Tah.
What I remember about this video was the Lost Boyz were looking bummy in the video, and almost a year later they shot the Music Makes Me High video with fresh gear on a private jet. Now whats noteworthy is that both tracks are on the same LP, back in those days labels didn't front rappers money, you had to put in work just for the chips for studio time. That's why I got nothing but love and respect for the LB Fam.
@ta719208 -______- r u serious kid cudi?, Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Hopsin and Tyler the creator LMAO u must b out ya dam mind dey all suckk everybody else u named is good but these guys r the only hope 4 new age hip hop ? i doubt that since they all suck n theres more deserving rappers for this category
@JAYLEEK50 Tech N9ne is the #1 lyricist ever. If you disagree, you just ain't heard him then and you talkin out your ass. Yelawolf? Have you HEARD Pop The Trunk?? And Hopsin is a genius. He does everything himself. How many rappers do that? And Tyler's dope. He's original. He's stupid but he's better than whatever the radio's playing. And that's real.
Besides all of the legends still moving big today, -- Hopsin, Ludacris, Tyler The Creator, Eminem, Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Kid Cudi --- they're the only hope for the new age of hip hop
@ta719208 show me a dope song by him, i still havent found one good enough to actually listen to regularly. i understand he has good wordplay, but he didn't really have amazing flow to begin with from all the stuff i've heard, and i gave him a fair try, when someone said he had good hiphop shit. but if anyone wants to sit around and hate on jay-z switchin up his complete style, just to go with the mainstream, you might wana take a look at luda first. just my opinion.
Nah, you can't just go calling albums like Chicken and Beer or Theater of the Mind classics. Takes away from classics like Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, Doggystyle, Paid in Full, etc... or even Back of the First Time or Word of Mouf. Luda's had a couple classic albums and several other classic tracks across different albums.
No doubt the art of lyricism and wisdom has lost its senses when it comes to hip hop and the culture. Fake bullshit people ( The Mainstream ) are the #1 contributors to the epic fail of knowledge in the spoken word. To combat this threat you must educate and believe in learning as the supreme force in the Universe. Once you grasp the concept, then you can progress those around you.
this track takes me back to the old skool. good hip hop with a gangster style, not just this new skool bullshit(with exception) with its bling this and bling that.what a shame it is !?!
