Is this the one I saw at a theatre many years ago? It was an Emanuelle movie, which I remember for two things. The relevant thing was a scene where attacked by natives (?), one male character by a wall gets grabbed by the head by someone on the other side, fatally pulled eye-first into a large splinter from the burst wall. S'truth.
The other thing I remember from the movie was that, prior to the movie, was a NFB 'short' (too bleepin' long tho) of flickering B&W photos of Nova Scotia. Awful
@kojitube It's called "Make Love on the Wing" and sung by Ulla Linder. It's available on CD in one of the Black Emanuelle box sets (can't remember if it's set 1 or 2) from Severin Films.
He's not that dumb to put animal cruelty into the film. Have you seen Man from Deep River, Cannibal Ferox, Jungle Holocaust (Last Cannibal World), Mountain of the Cannibal God and the best one Cannibal Holocaust?
@Johnlindsey289 I've seen Man From Deep River, Cannibal Ferox, Jungle Holocaust and Cannibal Holocaust. All would have been just as effective without the cruel and pointless slaughter of animals. D'Amato may have made some fucked up films, but at least everyone and everything was alive when filming wrapped!
Those poor jungle dwellers never got a good rap back in the days lol. And Laura always looks perfectly groomed while trudging through the sweaty jungle. Geez I never looked that good travelling 4.5 stars through Thailand a few years back!!
@AussieRoadshow I've always thought Emanuelle would have been fairly safe from the flesh-hungry cannibals, as she only weighs about three stone. :) Craptastic is a great way to describe this film. There's that hilariously-dubbed scene where Emanuelle stops twice mid-sentence to take a bite of her meal. It had been a while since I had posted a vid, so I got in a hurry and made some editing snafus, but hopefully people will blink and miss them. Thanks for another great comment! Glad you enjoyed!
