Best way to stop penalties? Watch the plant foot....depending on the angle of the plant foot will give away 8/10 which way the ball is going to go. If the plant foot is pointing left, the ball will go left. Its an unconscious tell by the taker of the penalty. Next time you watch a game and see a penalty, try and guess which way the ball will go by how the striker plants his foot prior to kicking the ball. Its a split second thing but it gives you an advantage.
