I personally is not a fan of the sparkle-trend, but people have different styles which appeal to different people. It all comes down to taste and what you find entertaining. This is just a fad and will most likely disappear sooner or later. And it's not like the effect-abuse is a new thing, we were adding all kind of rotations, hues, inverts and crazy transitions in the WMM and early Sony Vegas age too.
I am sure a new and even more annoying trend will come soon, it has always been like that.
AAAAGH I know exactly what you mean! There are some of the flashing ones that are well put together, but most times they're just clips with effects on top. Effects DO NOT make a video! They add to it! *grumble grumble*
Also, have you noticed the lack of slower video lately? Everyone uses fast songs instead of slow ones...or is that just me?

YES!! I have kinda drifted from making videos,I mean I hear all these amazing songs and find perfect video ideas..but I never know where to find the clips for them, but this video really makes a point.. I liked the videos before...thanks for posting :D

Hm. True. I enjoy making chill vids with colorschemes and such, but all the sudden it's become this competition and I can't keep up. no matter how hard I try, I can't do those flashy effects. It just isn't my style :/ That's why I like editing with live action now, because there isn't so much pressure to overload everything with effects. Whatever...
Anyway, Love your editing again! You work amazingly well with any song, whether it's ADTR or something chill :) Amazing job!

@gr8estwolflover Oh if ur wmm dies all you have to do is download it from the interent- the one that comes with the computer normally doesnt last long lol
