this is a poorly made video.i'm not certain but i suspect the narrator may have insulted stewart hammeroff here.stewart hammeroff is a HIGHLY trained doctor.he has worked very closely with roger penrose ( a physicist) to bring about his ideas.
I think it is more that our ability to understand such things as quantum theory is constrained by our cognitive abilities, which are tuned to the demands of what Richard Dawkins calls 'middle sized objects moving at middle speed'. The interpretations we produce are more like metaphors than concrete facts, although they don't have to be individual. Scientific theories are our shared, collective metaphors, what Dawkins (again) calls 'the poetry of reality'.
