  • A odczep się :P

  • Gj dude!! =DDDDDD

  • Comment removed

  • i will steal* it....

  • My bad. English ain't my native language

  • Then you should be talking Polish, diggin' it ya'no?

  • sOOOOO much like what im looking for! it just doesnt have any drums. MAD SKILLS DUDE!!!

  • Or at least negates the "up pull" of the tremolo bridge. Also, it no longer "floats" when the block is installed.

  • instead of D-G try going D-C

  • mmm ive gotta accept its hard to play that but i didnt like that riff sorry..good luck ..you played an awesome solo anyway

  • Got tabs ? :D

  • i remember i used to play like that but than i dont know just start learning different styles of playing.

  • Cool riff! :)

  • can i have the tabs?

than i make you a video answer!

  • you ROCK!!

  • great job

  • It looks like a floyd rose tremolo.

  • so amazing but what is that weird bridge thingy in your neck

  • Its the locking nut for the Floyd Rose Double Locking Tremolo. Although, it may just be a floating bridge as well, so maybe not the tremolo.

  • Its an Ibanez so it would have an edge tremolo. Also floating bridges are for tremolos, so I don't know what you're talking about.

  • Actually not all tremolos systems are floating. And you can get floating fixed bridges.

  • Please don't try to bend facts. You said that the bridge could simply be a floating bridge, implying that it would not be a tremolo. I said if it was a floating bridge then it would have to be one.

And I realize that there are other types of tremolos like the vintage strat type and the bigsby as well as other.

  • Well, not exactly right...Ibanez makes several trem bridges besides the Lo-Pro Edge. But I do agree with you, in that I've never heard of a floating fixed bridge? What in the name of goodness would be the purpose of something like that???

  • Maybe hes referring to a floyd without the back routed out, so you can't pull up? it wouldn't be called a floating fixed bridge though

  • No, oakshir, a fixed bridge (or stop tailpiece) is just that...fixed. It's not a tremolo bridge. Such as on a Les Paul or an SG Standard or something. Those are fixed bridges (actually tune-o-matic bridges), but fixed tailpieces all the same. You may be referring to is a "blocked" tremolo? Where the guitar has a tremolo, but the player installs a block so that it is in effect a fixed bridge. This is often done by players when the trem unit won't keep tune but it negates the trem feature.

  • actually what im referring to is how eddie van halens floyd rose is on his frankenstrat guitar, its not routed in the back, so you cant pull up, you can only divebomb, im saying maybe the guys just confused with terms or something. i know what a blocked tremolo is.

  • I should leave this topic alone, but I can't help myself. LOL! Eddie Van's Frankenstrat was THE tremolo that caused all the divebomb commotion, it was not a fixed floating bridge. It was, in fact, a "blocked" tremolo, as Ed screwed a coin under the trem to block it. OK, I'll shut up about Floyd Roses and floating tremolos. It doesn't matter anyway, i don't know why I keep commenting. Whatever you guys think is fine with me. :-)

  • Ahh, now that u mention that i remember something like that, but maybe i shouldnt have used that guitar as an example. eddies current wolfgang line of guitars i believe doesnt have the back routed out, so the wood stops you from pulling up on the bar. hehe also while im at it, blocking is usually done at the block of the tremolo inside the guitar, not on the outside, though i am aware he did the coin thing ;P no hard feelings just sharing what i believe

  • OMG!

  • the solo at the end was awesome!

  • thanks so much friend, and thanks for watching!

  • so, how and how long have you practiced to get that blazing-fast playing?

  • that was sick dude!

but you guys saying that it's more metal, you're wrong. a main characteristic of a hard rock riff is use of the pentatonic scale, which is clearly used alot in this riff. the only part that sounded remotely metal was the little climbing shred at the end.

  • thanks mate, that's exactly what i think too :)

  • The biginning was a little hard rock, but..the rest was metal...

    Good attempt though..

  • if u could give me the begining tab? i like the begin - the rest is kinda metal.. but the begin DEF a guns n roses feel to meeting a machine..

  • This is not hard rock man, it's more like Metal.

  • Not for me, but thanks for comment

  • Dude this is fucking awesome! Please get me tabs for the beggining!

  • Decent sound on that Ibanez, better lead than rythym, but I'd buy it for the rythym if it wasn't too pricey.

  • u kno it wud be wonderful if u tabbed that for me, just a suggestion

  • I would call it a bit more metalish then hard rock, but what type of hard rock, I know it's not Led Zeppelin type of hard rock.. Just name me a band...

  • Classic Rock = Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, etc.

Hard Rock = Van Halen, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, etc.

  • Hmmm.... Led Zeppelin is more rock than Classic Rock... Beatles are Classic Rock and Roll... AC/DC is Classic Hard Rock, because they were the first... And a question for you Black Sabbath? (which I know)... But who cares...

  • lol yeah i know i hate when people get all deep into genres, a good song is a good song. but i think this guy falls into modern rock.

  • I personally find that powerchords are talentless, if you use them over and over again, like normal chords or creative chords are great! Well who cares, let's just do our thing, like this guy did...

  • led zeppelin=hard rock

the beatles=......pop(?) i think that the beatles are over ranked

  • great riff

  • very good riff

    check out mine too

    thanks

  • that was fucking nice dude, you play really fast and really got the skillz ^^

  • awesome riff best 1 ever

  • good good

  • your guitar is yamaha erg112c?

  • No it isn't, it's an Ibanez RGT42 with Duncan pickups :)

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaa hard fuckingg rockkk yeaaaa is the very good

  • your fcking awesome!!

  • good

  • 2 notes, lol

  • wow. thats amazing...get a life...your good.

  • if you can do that than u can play just about any thing

  • No he can't, that is simple, just played really fast. listen to jazz.

  • yeah, that sounds nothing like dime,

    not bad though

  • dude u fuckin do sound like dime

  • dude, i like the killer mondo shred at the end, although you did the whole i-can-shred-the-whole-scale-up-and-down-without-emotion thing, like that other dude said

  • Thanks mate, good to know you liked it :)

  • yeah just add alot more bends to your solos! and over bends sound really good for Hard Rock i find! its good to have some shred but then you gotta take a step back and go into some pentatonic licks and bends! hope this helps!

  • i like it i sounds like dime

  • Lacks feeling, although I am not Knocking you, it is rather scaley. Find your own riff and blast it out make it your own. Keep it up dude

  • not bad. Thought the solo is just another I-can-shred-the-whole-scale-up-and-down-without-emotion solo.

  • Thanks, but i think the solo is more like as I-need-to-improvisate-some-to-end-this-video-nothing-else.

  • ha ha ha roflmao

  • hahaha

  • WoW!!!! Very cool m8! 5/5

  • that was soooo beast

  • awesome! next mick thompson ;) hmm... maybe someone else

  • nice man

  • Very nice man!

  • stop asking for tabs and just take 5 seconds to look at his fingeRS!

  • ok people get an ear

can you PM me a tab?

    dude you rawk!

  • dude if thats an Ibanez RG5EX1 i have that guitar and im guessing u got at guitar center

  • I know that model and is closer at this, but this guitar is the RGT42 model.

    Thanks for watching :)

  • I really like your playing style. You don't just chug out riffs, you seem to throw in a little bluesy feel to it. Nice tone, solo was great in my opinion, probably because I can't play that stuff at all. 5/5 stars

  • thanks so much mate, I appreciate that :)

  • Hey kerryreynolds666 we all want to be ask cool as you. But have you been laid yet tough guy?

  • i know 4 11 yr olds that can play guitar better than most ppl that are 20 or so yr old and have been playing a while. infact one of them can do a passable micheal angelo batio song

  • i like it man really nice! do you have tabs for it?

  • Congratulations! You are now smarter than a monkey..

(I'm waiting for your vid playing this, rockstar)

  • dude, you're gay. if you're 11 and have been playing for two years, and think you're the shit, you're a retard.

this is awesome playing, and more than i bet you'll ever be able to do. so go suck a cock, or cry to your mom.

  • lol just cos some guys can play better than you can dont cry a river a bout it you shit head. go get laid and stop pretending to be cool

  • oh yeah!

  • i was in a guitar shop the other day and played an ibanez it was like £500 then a gibson for like £900 the ibanez was much better to play

  • awesome technic, but riff is out of theme =/

  • NICE!!!! :D

  • Yeah, I too.

    Just inmediately after play it..

  • i was heard this riff

  • real nce

  • great dude ^^ wich guitar do yu play in the vid^^

and wich amp did you use (i dont no if its correct,i'm not good in english lol)

  • thanks mate, guitar is an ibanez rgt42 and the amp is a marshall mg series 15w

  • fucking awesome

  • dude i imagined this riff with drums bass and keyboards and it would make a perfect hard rock song :D good job man nice riff and arpeggio thing

  • good riff no doubt. not too sure its yours though.

  • you can be sure that's mine, but typical riffs can be closer sometimes

  • very nice, any chance you could send me TAB for that?

  • :O

    GREAT (Y).

  • Man, that is close to a Foghat song....Slow Ride...Not the same phrasing obviously but the similar notes...very simlar...Not saying you copied...You made it your own...but similar Slow Ride intro

  • Yes? hehe, no, I don't nkow that song, but it is a typical rythm, I'll hear the song what you say and I'll compare :)

  • stop having f*kin arguments and commnet on the guy's efforts you bitches. nice lead btw

  • i know but I'm still thinking that is not a constructive comment.

  • hey man pretty cool the start was boring but the end was nice !! i wanna know what all u guys record your videos with cus i use my phone and the quality sucks plz message me thxs rob

  • (continued) they gave him ratings of 2s and 3s and i got 9s and 10s. shows that people with no musical background cant distinguish between talent and no talent

  • Nice story.. but i don't know what you want to say

  • anyone can do the E pentatonic scale and make it seem impressive to the musically uneducated

  • yes i know, but i don't attempt to impress anyone, this was only an improvisation at this moment, who makes a song to impress people and not for make music has a big self steem problem.

  • maybe i wasnt clear. i was sort of knocking the people that are commenting and are impressed with the first half. thats all. not talking about you as a player

  • u sound like a complete prick drumm. the whole story of u beating another guy in a "shred-off" was completely pointless. ur not impressing anyone. and as for ur comment that people with no musical background cant distinguish between talent and no talent, talent is purely subjective so who r the fuck r u to tell others who is talented and who isnt.

  • the point of the story was directly linked to my comment that you disagree with. while i would agree that how something sounds to people is purely subjective, the technical aspect regarding the skill required to play piece of music is absolutely not subjective. it is objective in the pretty much every way i can think of. anyone with some education in music has the ability to distinguish between what requires a great deal of technical skills and what doesnt. thats what i meant by talent.

  • also, i wasnt trying to impress anyone with my story, like i said it was just to get a point across. "who r the fuck r u to tell others who is talented and who isnt." the judgment of who is and who isnt a prick is purely subjective to who are you to tell others who is and who isnt?

  • the point of the story was directly linked to my comment that you disagree with. It got my point across about distinguishing between talent and no talent. I was in no way trying to impress anyone. while i would agree that how something sounds to people is purely subjective, the technical aspect regarding the skill required to play piece of music is absolutely not subjective.

  • i have an ibanez RG as well, except mine is a 7-string

  • coool

    :)

  • awesome! there's no other word for that :D

  • mixin stuff up with the open pentatonic scale is fun isnt it

  • when i was i high school there was a guy that only played pentatonics in E. it pissed me off because everyone thought he was the most amazing guitar player ever (especially when he turned on all his little effects his daddy bought him) so when we had battle of the bands i challenged him to a "shred-off" with 3 judges (all music teachers at the school)

  • that was pretty sexy
