Our material was specially prepared to respect the environment. The organizers responded quite positively to our conditions and the material was brought aboard the boat.
Damn, you guys don't see the humor in this? The captain knows what is right and what is wrong. It was a creative marketing ploy, yet all you wound up people found the negative aspects of it as usual!!! Learn to live, learn to laugh!!! The world would be a better place if you did!!!
By the way I am from Guam, and can tell you that no...there really wasn't any billboards placed in the Marianans Trench. First of all, US Federal Law prohibits it. Secondly, 600lb mono would break halfway through. Also, currents would have had the sign drifting off course by miles, and LASTLY no camera can reach that depth.
So guys enjoy the darn ad for what it's worth...a funny spoof that is creative and not meant to be taken seriously.
LOL I loved this video. Look people why are you guys getting so worked up about an ad? Of course it is not real. Did you guys get this worked up when MTV's ad had a spaceman planting an MTV Flag on the moon?
Just to clarify: believe me, we did not dump anything in the ocean and mother nature wasnt harmed in the making of this film. The only thing we did was dramatize the extremely low price. And to make it slightly more interesting than a billboard with a price, we used one of the oldest tricks in advertising: exaggeration. In this case in a viral movie where like in many viral movies things are not always the way they are.
do you really think that Clearchannel will allow Alfa Romeo to dump their billboard on the bottom of the ocean?
those marketing boys are crazy but not that crazy to leave stuff in the ocean. I won't be surprised that the billboard will show up one of these days....

From what I understand, mountain climbers have left garbage all over Everest. It's only logical that we dump crap into the deepest place on Earth if we've already trashed the highest.
It was lame... And plastic sign? Will you take it out when the promotion is done? Or we managed to put trash in the lowest place on earth too? Great....
Challenger Deep is 200 miles from Guam, not 21 miles. This video is fake. There is no sign at the bottom of the trench. This marketing campaign is a farce, but worse trivializes the problem of marine debris. I live in the Marianas and marine debris kills our wild life and litters our shores, some of the most remote places on the planet.
the plastic cracked.

Alfa has alway attracted the petrolhead with it style and twincam engines.
No matter how much you advertise alfa's it will not appeal to the motorist
who thicks more of cost over style and carisma, and thats what i love most
about Alfa romeo, not as common as a Golf or Micra, oh and its Italian, ciao

Actually Challenger Deep is not part of the monument. The deepest part of the monument is in Yapese waters.

Wow I'm hurt by this. I gnna sue you for half(Eddie Murphy joke)
The least you can do is to donate Alfa Romeos to all the Chamorru people. I personally would like myself a Spider.
