@Ankyxy13 I notice a trend... you can do any colors you want. Just test them and see what happens. No need to ask if it will work because in the end anything will work regardless of color so long as you follow the pattern correctly.

If you feel the colors will be bad together then do a small test sample with strings that are about a foot long and then folded... you will be able to test it out and see if you like it before committing the full 65 inches to the pattern and color choices.

@Godsgymgirl12 You can use more or less but there will be more/less steps. Since entire rows are the same just add as many of the same types of knots to each row so you can cover/use all the strands.

@Fuck1tJD It's common to give them to friends as a sign of friendship. You can also call them "Macrame Bracelets" but they are more commonly called friendship bracelets so I stick with that title.

I do it like this for a reason. You watched the beginner videos and now you understand it. @livelove2381 Names are alphas, these are regular patterns. There are some regular patterns that contain names but they are usually two colors. Since this pattern is so random in color I don't think it would work. It might if you substitute in strings like a multicolor alpha but I'm not sure how it would come out with such a busy background.

@chabbygabby The colors are supposed to change. You repeat steps 1-6 indefinitely. Each time the strings will be different. Just continue and keep them in the order they are supposed to be. If you need extra help check my cardboard loom video.
