Dude but you are in Japan, just go out to an elctronic store, buy a speaker, it has probably a damaged plastic diafragm of the speaker, replace the speaker. That's all

The light does seem pretty strong so it may not be the batteries, possibley the speaker is faulty?? Check ebay for parts
