Thanks so much! Every other mobileinstallation file I have downloaded was corrupt and would cause the pod to freeze on the boot image. No method but restoring would work.

Not to show up the owner here, but the best way to get your mobileinstallation file modded is to use an app called AppSync, after downloading this from Cydia, you'll be able to simply download the .ipa files and double click and sync in itunes 8.2.

plug it into the pc. it will work, there is no possible way to crash an ipod touch. there is no way to brick an ipod touch. if it dont come ono plug it into the pc. if that dont work, hold down the home button and the power button. there now stop complaining.

Go download iFunbox. It's an easier solution than WinSCP. If you used Blackra1n though, you must use WinSCP.

Allow me to shed some light on the situation of how to get the ipa from computer to iPhone REALLY EASY. First, download iFunbox on PC. SSH into iPhone. Go to Raw File System, var, mobile, library, downloads. Drag the ipa into that folder. Open installous on iPhone. If you dont have it, search on how to get it on youtube. Its easy. Inside installous, click the downloads tab, tap the game, and install TA-frickin-DA

ok so i downloaded the iphone browser, then i navigated to: system/privateframework/mobile­installation.framework and then i replaced the downloaded one with my backup and then exited, and then held power and home for 10 seconds, then after a while the iPod acknowledged the fact that it had crashed. and yer now it works and now im going to put the cracked file onto my ipod and i'll let you know how it goes. thanks all, i really hope i helped.

Basically, you'll need to reset your iphone. Just connect it with its little apple logo on, it will still be detected, but it takes longer and eventually the loading circle freezes, but don't mind that.

Basically, in iTunes, click your device, then hit the "restore" button. MAJOR pain in the ass to reinstall everything, but at least your phone won't be broken.

When I rebooted it after putting the MobileInstallation thingy on I just get a lit black screen and the apple symbol and that doesn't go away for about 10 mins when it flashes a white screen and does the same thing again. if u hav ur neigbour's apple ID and thier password u can go on itunes and under "store" (on the top left of itunes) there is something called "authoize computer". click that and enter ur neigbour's apple ID and password then click "authoize." Now try to place on iphone useing itunes again. hope it helped. reply if not

if u install the new moblie installation file like the user did in this vid u should be able to double click the ipa file and it would automatically be in ur itunes library:application tab and from there u can sync ur ipod. if that doesnt work u should just download the app. if that some how does not work...i dont know
