@MrNinjaMittens Thanks for the comment. Yah, the disclaimer is a bit long, there was more but I was editing and it got screwed up and part was deleted. The only reason I actually put it in there, was because the video was going to be shown on a Galactica fan film site. The problem was that one of the ppl involved with the site began to nit-pick the project to death. So I said 'screw em' and I stopped working on it. Again though, thanks for the comment. :D
@Fretslayer I would like to see more! I just recently started watching the newer series and I am really getting into it! I will watch the 70's version when I'm done with the newer one. I have always been a huge Star Wars fan and I am currently working on another Star Wars animation... I have never liked Star Trek, and I always thought Battlestar Galactica would be like Star Trek, but I am really liking it! You should make more animations! I use Bryce 7 and EffectsLab Pro for my animations!
@MrNinjaMittens I am a huge fan of the new BSG show. I love it. As for animations - Well, I do a lot of them. I just haven't posted make of them here. I tend to throw my WIP footage here. I'll PM you and send you a link to a project I'm currently working on. It's a fantasy themed story, like something you'd see in D&D - I'm digging it because it's different that most of the stuff I've done lately. As for Bryce... Well, I cut my teeth on Bryce v.1 :) It was the 1st CG app I used.
For a supposedly 'rough' piece of work this is amazingly entertaining! The ships all seem to have the right 'weight' and feel(some beginning animators really mess up on that). The character animation is also impressive for someone who taught himself! Really well done - it's readily apparent how much thought and work you put into it.
This is good fo the time period and lack of experience. More than I can do for sure. Rigging and scene set up for that long of an animation with so many resources must of been a bitch.
Not bad... I thought the disclaimer was a bit too long, but the film was good! I gave it a thumbs up!
