I went on a 10 day Europe trip during spring break in March and out of all the cities we went to, Munich was definitely my favorite. Watching this video makes me very reminiscent!

i was just there a few weeks ago with my grandmother, because she grew up there and Im part German. I miss it so much, i want to go back!! I got to see my german cousins and where my grandmother grew up. and I bought a dirndl :)
Munich was crazy! The Hoffbrauhaus was exciting...a few drinks later I fell down a flight of escalators...somewhere near the glockenspiel. Still fun though!

I've been offered a job in Munich, pretty nervous about packing up and leaving. Need to make my decision by end of January,,,thinking i'll give it a crack. I'm Scottish so I suppose its only across the pond.

Gay friendly? What does that even mean? Oh, It is just a terrifying experience for gay visitors. Citizens routinely drag gays into the street and beat and club them and leave them hanging them from lampposts! And families? They are systematically berated and taunted and flee with fear for their LIVES!!
Munich is an open, tolerant and charming historic city with beautiful people.
Give the absurd paranoia, the special status expectations and self-importance a rest.

Munich is so nice! I was actually separated from my travel partner at 3 am. There I was drunk and alone in a country where I didnt speak the language. The locals were so cool. They sat and talked to me and helped me find my way back to the hotel. In any major city in the US I would have been robbed and killed. I love Germany. I will return one day!
And somehow, New York City is considered better than Munich? I don't get it. Munich is clean, has beautiful architecture, friendly people, and delicious food everywhere you look. New York is overcrowded, filthy, smells terrible, has rude people, and food that ranges from "great" to "terrible". I'm ashamed to live 35 miles away from NY. The only good opportunities there are job opportunities.

I visited Munich for my summer holiday this year . I was bitterly disappointed by the experience as I only got one rain-free day out of 6 .
There was a torrential downpour with hurricane-like winds. I got drenched just crossing the street ! This dampened my spirits (unintentional pun) and resulted in my coming home feeling somewhat cheated. Also there was a singular lack of English versions on public notices, signposting, directions and instructions etc. The Airport was a nightmare. Sorry !

Just got back from Europe, Munich and Vienna were my favorite cities by far! Munich is extremely safe, even at 1am on a friday night :D

i was just there a few weeks ago with my grandmother, because she grew up there and Im part German. I miss it so much, i want to go back!! I got to see my german cousins and where my grandmother grew up. and I bought a dirndl :)
