Yes feeding a dog when she or he does something good is the right way to teach your dogs things when he does something wrong you correct him on that til he does it good than you feed him again after a little bit could take from a week to 1month he is doing it automaticly than you only need to feed him once per 20times he does it good.

My 5 month old boxer knows all of those tricks, plus more. Boxer's are just smart dogs. It only takes her about 10 minutes to pick up new tricks. I'm actually running out of things to teach her! Except she has a problem with jumping up on people when she is excited.... haven't broke her of that yet.
@saltysea i still wouldn't, top ten are smart, i mean some boxers are very intelligent, but the breed is not known for its knowledge, as much as its loving personality, i love boxers and i think they are amazing dogs, but i wouldn't necessarily call em smart

With a treat on his nose, my 7 month boxer would have drooled so much during that timespan you would have had to thrown your clothes in the dryer! How much did yours weigh at 7 months?

Her face is priceless with the treat on her nose! I have two 7 month old boxer boys and they are by far the smartest dogs I have ever had!
