ok honestle everyone who does this cover needs to slide ther hand position down and play it almost 1/2 an octive higher to the five fretted rooted scale so for example when ur playing the intro dont slide from 5 to 6 frets it sould be moved down a fret to 4/5 and everything else moved a fret down
it also depents on the tuning... not everyone has standart tuning (EADGBe)... or whatever... i for example play most of the covers in 1/2 step down tuning... so you must play it 1 fret higher than in standart tuning... hmm?
Only a fender straocaster sounds that good. alot better than a gibson. :) I have a 50s custom shop Fender Strat sounds alot better than my freinds gibson sg.
It aint the guitar, it's that Tube Screamer pedal, unless he's using a tube amp. I did this song on here (check it out) with a Epiphone Sheraton and a Ibanez Tube Screamer and got pretty much the same sound. But you are right, them Fenders are hard to beat!
