  • they didnt mention incest.... so i will

  • 1:26 lol XD

  • Except Tyrion, I hate the Lannisters \_/

  • I don't like the way Lena Headey has changed Cersei. I'm not sure if it's just her or her and the writers but she is one of the only characters in the story that is completely and utterly irredeemable.

  • i want tywin lannister also featured here, but then it would be a spoiler.

  • @MrKoolCakes Have you read the third book? He gets a lot more likeable in that book. Prior to that, yeah, he's a prick.

  • @Bek359 Nope i havent.. THANKS FOR SPOILING IT D: .... jk

  • fucking lannisters :)

  • Ive never liked Jamie in the books, but then agian I like how GRRM can actually make characters that I can have an opinion of lol

  • IF U SCRATCH MY BACK, I'LL SCRATCH YOURS!

  • DON'T SCROLL DOWN IF YE HAVE NOT READ EVERY MORSEL OF MARTIN!

    AVAST! MANY SPOILERS ABOUND!

  • Martin better not die before he's done writing the series.....

  • @Grievous1997 I think that's his plan to tick off everyone.

  • @Grievous1997 If he does die than it'll be JRR Tolkien all over again :(

  • @Grievous1997 this is the best series ive ever seen if he dies its gonna suck

  • @Grievous1997 Dam he is already 86. It will take him 5 years to finish one book so he will probably be dead by then .

  • @biplav32 nah dude, hes looking good :)

  • @hazuninga he is 86 it wouldn't be surprising if he died today hopefully he wont take 5 years for his next book.

  • @Grievous1997 just finished SOS , beginning FFC soon. with the way the series is unfolding, it would be nice knowing it doesn't end with DOD. here's to martin turning immortal

  • Lord "Mighty" Tywin is all I care about. He is The Man that should rule The Realm.

Infact, The Realm needs a ruler like him for deacdes now...

Anyway what I wanna point out is,

as long as, Jaime & Cersei & Tyrion looks after their Lord Father's interest,

I can endure them, even some issues about them bug me a lot.

But if his children are going after their own interest,

then SCREW THEM... The Dwarf... The Bitch... and The Blondy... Screw All of them.

ALL HAIL TO LORD TYWIN !!

  • @UnionLords have u read the books?????

  • Tryion means Bad Ass in the common tongue.

  • @17Watman It is known.

  • Damn, are you Lannister haters gonna get happy in the 4th book :)

  • I don't think disfunctional matches it....

  • I haven't read the books, unfortunately. But in show i really hate this guy, but well not very much, he's just ..so punchable in my opinion, he's face, just want to punch it so badly. He's an interesting character tho. So punchable. Like really. ..You just get the urge. Like really I would love to punch him in the face and just see what happens. Just to be done with it. Feels like ..You just have to fix he's face like ..with punching it , alot of times. Wierd.

  • @SuperHeroMania No one can do what Martin does because he's awesome. XD

  • They forgot to mention that Lannisters are A BUNCH OF FUCKING PRICKS!

  • @xPureDeth The Lannisters are the richest house in Westeros and the crown owes millions of dragons to the Lannisters. Jaime is one of the best warriors in Westeros (along with Loras Tyrell and Barristan Selmy). Cersei is the queen (bitch) who acts as king, and Tywin is one of the most feared military strategist in Westeros, who has the respect of both his allies and enemies. Tyrion's cunning rivals that of Petyr Baelish's. Pricks? I don't think so.

  • @puenboy1 FUCKING PRICKS!

  • i fucking hate jamie.

  • @patrix404 Its Jaime

  • They should change their house logo to a crossbow imo!

  • omg at 2:11 it's the witchfinder!!! anyone who watches merlin will know who he is XD....

  • One of the things I really enjoy about the Song of Ice and Fire books (as well as the TV show), is the care that's put into making characters three-dimensional. There are so few characters that are completely evil, and even fewer who are completely good, and it makes the world feel all the more real. There's only a couple exceptions, such as Gregor Clegane and Prince Joffery, who have absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and coincidently, they're both associated with the Lannisters.

  • also, we keep forgetting poor Kevan. And he deserves some love too if only for his strong affection and loyalty to his brother and the way he told Cersei to go fuck herself. I swear to God I have never cheered for anyone like I had cheered for him during that moment

  • Lena Headey is fricking hot!

  • 9GAG?

  • george please hurry and write the winds of winter. i can't wait forever.

  • Was is that hard to curl their blonde hair and give Tyrion one blue and one black eye? Color contacts are cheap these days...

  • @b1asius one green and one black eye

  • @Warrgstube Yes a mistake, one green, you are right. :)

  • I loved Jaime from the very beginning, Bran-shoving or not (also for Bran it really turned out much better than going to King's Landing would have been).

Cercei is a stupid, stupid bitch and godawful father.

Tyrion really stopped being cool after a while and his storyline in the fifst qas a bit awful.

    Myrcella owned.

Oh, and lord Tywin Lannister was the most sheerly awesome character I have ever read about.

  • Comment removed

  • @AntiTroll101 Since you act like u read the books you should know, that Tywin is memetic badass both in and out the universe, that he is widely accepted as one of the best rulers the 7k ever had (they prospered under his rule as a Hand) and if not one event in the storm of the swords (don't wanna spoiler) he would have actually won that frickin war

  • @TheBerylfly I admit Lord Tywin was pretty cool when described in the books (piercing gaze, gold-flecked green eyes, golden whiskers, nice armor). Yes, he was even a good strategist and Hand of the King. However (*Spoiler?*) he was one of the masterminds behind the red wedding, a violation fo the laws of hospitality. He also failed to appreciate the qualities in his son Tyrion, shunning him and in turn praising Jaime. Tyrion has frequently referred to his father as a "cunt."

  • @AntiTroll101 @AntiTroll101 no spoilers dude, I have reaв all the books. However, I disagree. Yes, violating the laws of hospitality is bad thing to do, but Tywin did what had to be done. He had a war at his hands, a dangerous foe who needed to be dealt with, and quickly. Frankly? I think that Red Wedding, in in-universe perspective, was better than ongoing waк when the winter was already not coming, but at the door.

  • @TheBerylfly And I must point out that Tywin was an AWESOME Hand and Westeros prospered under his rules; he was the only man, in my opinion, who could have guided the scorched land through the long, long winter. I admit he did some pretty terrible stuff, but most of it needed to be done. If he overdoes things sometimes, it's his own flaw, yes, but he is still THE MAN. And about Tyrion and Tywin's relationship - I have a lot of thoughts on it but I doubt you would want to read a freaking essay

  • Thumbs up if you like Jamie Lannister from begining to now!

  • I like Jamie and Tyrion but i would loveeee to punch Cersei in the face and then set her on fire.

  • Anyone else feel like the Tyrions character really goes downhill in the fifth book?

  • Anyone know the song at the very beginning. It's very haunting.

  • Where do whores go ?

  • Lol I just had a battle on medieval 2 total war with the ASOIAF mod thing and beated the living shit out of the Lannister Army. Even then they flee I overhelmed them with my northern Riders !

  • @ps8hand Maybe there's more to it than meets the eye? Maybe. ;)

  • Can't stand that cunt Cersei. Tyrian is the only Lannister that is cool! Peter Dinklage sir, you are the MAN!

  • @paruma0ri Jaime is cool too!

  • @kimbltree Dude, he f*cks his sister! How is that cool?

  • @paruma0ri EXACTLY!!! Nah haha he comes into the books more, he has a neat personality. A touch of Tyrion to him :)

  • @kimbltree

I think I'ma read the books now! Can't be bothered waiting for series 2 on TV :)

  • I'm in love with Jaime. So much. Oh and I think it's awesome how involved George r.r. Martin is, usually the authors just supervise their movie adaptations from afar but he's actually helping produce it. So it makes everything that much closer to the books.

  • @danceaddict143 I'd be happy with them just shooting the book shot for shot, but I do think some parts in the show not in the books are more inspired.

  • @danceaddict143 I agree with you, but other authors can't do what Martin does because Martin has experience in the film industry

  • @danceaddict143 I agree with you, but other authors can't do what Martin does because Martin had experience in the film industry already

  • @danceaddict143 Also that he worked in the film/movie/screenwriting business for years before this

  • @danceaddict143 i think that shows. the series is soooooo close to the books its amazing.

  • Does Jaime know about Cersei and Lancel???

  • Lannister, Hear Me Roar. on book two hope they win control.

  • Hear me lol.

  • I just read the first 3 books right when season 1 ended.

After the first book I hated Jaime and Cersie but loved Tyrion

After the second I hated Cersie even more but didnt really mind Jaime, and still loved Tyrion

After the third I loved Jaime and Tyrion and I hated Cersie with a passion of all of the realm

  • @demonfromwithin haahaha I felt the same way, wait until you read the fourth! I hate the Lannisters! They can fuck them selves for all I care.

  • @demonfromwithin Wait until the fourth, you will be dreaming of her head served on a silver plate.

  • @Boldermonkey I just finished the fourth, I cant write my hatred towards Cersie on here cause my language would be too offensive

  • @demonfromwithin

Same. Add Kevan and Tywin to the 'love' category as well. Tywin's just badass, and the tongue lashing Kevan gives Cersei is fucking awesome.

  • @demonfromwithin for all the hate given to ceresi i wish people would call catelynn stark out on her shit. she is a bitch too. how she treated jon snow in the 1st book sickened me. she has no honor herself and i can not respect her for it. catelynn deserves equal hatred

  • @fleurgi agreed after reading the 4th book, I've devoloped a hatred for her as well, but you can atleast see things from her perspective, cersie is just a huge bitch

  • @demonfromwithin and that hate gets stronger and stronger in the next books, always a sign of a great book when you end up feeling so strongly about a character

  • @demonfromwithin Ditto, finished the 3rd book about a month ago.

  • the house of lannisters are a bunch of backstabbing assholes

  • I really like Jaime, he's the Jack Nicholson of Westeros. Cool, pompous, arrogant and he has done everybody.

  • @DeathJustice Actually, if I recall correctly it was said in the books that the only woman he has ever slept with is Cersei, so no, I guess he did not "do everybody" :P

  • They should be labeled as dogs instead of lions.

    except Tyrion <3

  • Tyrion looks like the only good apple in the rotten family.

  • Go Lannisters!

    Nothing is black and white.

  • The Lannisters are a bunch of lying, backstabbing, treasonous, incestuous snakes.

    Except for Tyrion.

    He's badass.

  • I'd also like Jaime if he hadn't thrown Bran through that window...

  • They have the best characters. The story wouldn't be the same without the Lannisters

  • I hate them all except Tyrion. Jamie and Cersai can both burn in hell especially Cersai and Jamie can feel regret all he wants I still need him to die a painful violent discusting death right along with his psychotic whoring twin

  • @streetsympohny why?? THE Lannisters make the whole story if you realize. Long live the Lannister!

  • Let alone the incest, i really like Jaime Lannister.

  • I'm half way through ADWD right now and while the actors stuck in my head while reading the books for a while, most of them eventually faded away to my own imaginings of what they should be....except for jaime and most of all tyrion/dinklage. Tyrion is the one character where when I read the books I hear Dinklage's voice 4 books later.

  • If only there was more on their armor, I love the armor design they made for the lannisters but there seem to be almost no pictures of the armor.

  • I don't know why but I like the Lannisters! You gotta have a soft spot for rich power-hungry fuck-ups! What fun would GoT be without them?

  • the Lannisters think they are so powerful, but a mid 20th century army would conquer the entirety of Westeros, plus all the free cities across the narrow sea, plus everything north of the wall (killing every single White Walker along the way) in less than a week, with an army of not more than 10 thousand.

they had 8 thousand years since the whitewalkers invasion, to discover gunpowder, steam, etc... and they havent done so! Dumb Westeros´ humans!

  • @rogerpenna It took us ten thousands of years to invent the wheel, stupid humans of earth

  • @Boldermonkey

    No kidding.

As human knowledge accumulates, the rate of inventions increases and the time between inventions decreases.

Yes, it took thousands of years to invent the wheel, and agriculture. But how long till we invented steel? And firepower? And nuclear weapons?

They have not advanced their technology for 8 thousand years. They had medieval tech 8000 years ago. And 8000 years later, they still do.

  • @rogerpenna Man they have dragons who needs, fire power when u got dragons :D, who needs telenetworks when u got dragons glass, who needs gunpowder when they got magic :D

  • @Boldermonkey haha, I love the books and obviously I am just kidding, but really, I can think of several situations where some modern tech would have helped them.

the situation is even worse considering they barely have dragon glass (which must be imported from Ashai and Yu Ti), they had only 3 dragons in the last 300 years, and magic... well, there are several people saying they are magicians, but aside some lame weak necromancy and R'hllor´s powers, we rarely see any magic.

  • @Boldermonkey

either way, I think thats the real edge of technology. Only a very few handful of people, in any fantasy setting, have magical powers. Mythical animals are few. Etc. Technology gives access to huge powers to anyone.

  • @rogerpenna Whats up with that? You'd think with Essos and Westeros being so close that cultural diffusion would happen at a quicker rate, and new technology would arise, as it happened in Europe throughout the 1500's and 1600's. And yet, they still have medieval tech 8000 years later. Is there a reason that GRRM gave for that?

  • Comment removed

  • @AntiTroll101

I suppose so. However, Oldtown has the closest thing to a university that I can think of in the books, and nothing technological have come out of there.

And what about the Freecities? Most of them do not have these oppressive monarchies. Some of the cities are described to sound like some european cities in the renaissance. But even those have not seen any change in technology for thousands of years.

  • fuck gryffindor.

  • The Lannisters are those guys you were afraid of in high school. Jaime's the asshole jock-bully, Cersei's the bitchy mean girl and Tyrion's the genius, not the type that gets bullied, but that type that likes verbally abusing people. Of course nobody can touch them because Tywin's the rich dad who donates sports equipment to the school.

  • @birdcagemind Hahah, I loled. It's a true fact! :D

  • @birdcagemind

And what do we do with such people?

  • @birdcagemind haha, that is exactly right

  • @birdcagemind lol I like that analogy but if someone thinks they run a 'school' you gotta step up and knock em one until they understand. :P

  • @SonnyA89 joffrey is homework. everyone hates him.

  • @birdcagemind lmao i'll drink to that!

  • @birdcagemind And they're all inbred?

Sounds pretty much like any place in Texas outside of a large city.

  • @birdcagemind

You, ser, made a comment worthy of the seven gods. I'd have knighted you, if I wasn't just a damn poor lamb man.

  • @birdcagemind I've never thought of Tyrion as a bully . Even Jaime has some merit to him. Cersei's a bitch all right XD

  • @birdcagemind That's such a good insight actually - one gets the feeling that iif Tyrion didn't have such a hangup against his father, he'd spare no one, not even bastards, cripples and broken things.

  • @birdcagemind no tyrions the guy whos had shit his entire life for being like he is so has learnt to live with it and thinks other people should learn to live with their stuff as well, thus why he tells john to not let it bother him when people call him a basterd. Oh and tywin should be bald and tyrion looks nothing like he should =(

  • @birdcagemind lol maybe at your school but at my school NOBODY went untouched if they caused some problems trust me lol

  • Hoder approves.

  • Every single cast member made me feel something. So good! All the cast deserves their own Emmy! I must say, Long live House Stark, THE KING IN THE NORTH!

  • agreed Dinklage rocked it, Sean Bean was easily the most loved character but Peter did a fantastic job and an Emmy would be much diserved

  • House Lannister is like the House Harkonnen of Game of Thrones, albeit not so sadistic. Of course House Harkonnen was considered a renegade house, unlike House Lannister. Both are corrupt as Hell and have no compunctions whatsoever about doing whatever it takes to be the most feared.

  • They didn't mention the incest.

  • Can't really hate the Lannisters :)

They apparantly look cold and calculating but there are worse characters around like "The Goat" and his band ;)

The last book give a good look at this diverse family ;)

  • oh, that and the youngest stark daughter. Brave and fierce for someone so small.

  • Peter Dinklage is my favorite actor on this show. His character is witty and full of charm, and even though first impressions of him are that he is just as corrupt as the rest of the Lannisters, I believe there is still a lot of honor hidden underneath. Well played sir, well played.

  • How could Cersei ever have loved Robert? It's pretty obvious who she loves from the very beginning...

  • @MrFirelizard

    oh yeah... only herself

  • Aside from being bald and clean shaven, Lord Varys is the best played character on the show. Tyrion done great but he's not nearly disfigured enough and his fake accent bugs me

  • fucking imp is so damn cool, the rest of em can die

  • tyrion makes game of thrones infinitely more interesting. most everyone is seems preoccupied with 'the pike'

  • @ilikebigguns meh. Didn't mean it literally (Sarcasm) Just joking.

  • I always hoped Dina Meyer would play by Dina Meyer, in appearance.

  • So many Magnificent Bastards in these books!

  • next up, FRIDAY FRIDAY

  • One disliker, who sleep with sheeps.

  • the best part is if you read the books by the third book you almost start to feel sorry for Jaime Lannister

  • @NotAG4yName Wow this was almost a spoiler. I read the books as well... The not readers will be awestruck by this story.

  • incest fucks, hope they die in the series

  • @Jbizzle931 Incest does not exist in their world, while in ours its just acting you idiot!

Love the fact that they bumped uglies, its very perverted and exotic!

  • @abduhzelda

It does exist and is mostly condemned, allthough the Targaryens practicised it also.

  • 0 dislikes? The Lannisters bought off all their haters

  • @wisewarrior7 or killed them. lol.

  • Would someone just slaughter these arrogant blonde bastards! I'd have killed or exiled that little bitch Jofrey before his ass could even touch that throne.

  • Peter Dinklage plays sooooo well. Give that man an emmy!

  • @matdej give that man a cock. he'll enjoy it!

  • @matdej He'd better, his character is actually going to be alive for more than five minutes! :P

  • @matdej They did give him an Emmy.

  • @17Watman He's nominated for one, didn't win it yet...

  • @degoetje Excactly :)

  • Comment removed

  • @matdej He got it.

  • @Meshakhad ... and three months later Dinklage got what he deserved :)

  • @matdej Behold! It is done!

  • Most interesting family in the best show on television

  • a lannister always pays his debts

  • The map of Westoros looks slightly like England and Scotland.
