how often are you supposed to wash your hair and use the infusium mix? i was told to wash my hair everday but i can't manage to aqueeze that in my day. i also use the infusium mix every day, several times a day. i checked the crown and glory page but it doesn't mention.
i love your hair so much and i can't wait for my hair to grow because i have a really short hair that refuse to grow so i decided to make it natural.By making it natural does it mean i have to pour water on my hair every day?
i do micros and my hair is find but i have 4c hair and i do a protein treatment b/f and after well it work's for me but every one is diff and it's imporant to do what's best for you not trying to be mean or nothing but black women have been doing braided styles since tha dawn of time but i guess it's new to you and it's working for ya congrats on a wonderful journey and hope you reach your length.
thanks for doing this video because now i know what i was doing wrong, i've been puting my hair in braids/ twist for a year & i'm getting problem on the front because i'm parting too small its too much pressure, i might change the hair i'm using too, thanks
@PAT1NONLY its fine, only if u start to see build up then u should take them down and re due that area to prevent buildup and breakage the go hand in hand when ur hair is braided
This method WORK! I just came across you video and I already know exactly what you were talking about. I'm a long term transitioner (17 months now) and have worn braids for almost a year. I was 3 to 4 months into my transition from relaxer to natural when I started using this method. When I did my first mini bc this past october, my total hair length have reached arm pit length. Btw i still have my edges :) lol
Watching your videos have helped me so much on my natural hair journey. But I have a question about the Crown and Glory method is there a certain hairstyle you can use for this or any hairstyle with extensions are fine
Great tips that u give us in this vid. It is a must when doing sew-ins do not make your cornrolled braids too small and too tight. Always condition your hair to keep the ends sealed. I wore micos while I was still relaxing, well...not small-small micros; but medium sized ones, and I saw growth and no thickness. However, w/out perm or relaxer it now has more length and more thickness. Once again, great advice, stay natural...girlie.
@lynnj85 Aww thank you soo much for both of your comments.. yes staying natural is hard, fior me too! it takes alot of getting use to but before you know it ur hair will be down your back, but as i tell every new natural. enjoy the length of your hair now because at some point u will miss it
for this method can you braid your natural hair and leave it in for 2 months or does it have to be done with weave? does adding the weave some how cover and protect the hair?
@QueenCleopatra0606 you can thus, its better when u add hair because then its really a protective style, when u braid ur own hair and say u want to wear ur braids down thats not protected because ur ends are sweeping against ur clothes and ur ends are out, so u should go with adding hair
@Torridiana777 ooo ok i got it. i was so heavy with the weave prior to going natural i didn't want to relapse lol. i should be ok though THANKS for the speedy reply.
@inluvwithellokitty yes u can just make sure the u dont have to put heat on ur hair or make the weave too tight, because then u will have problems, thats what made my hair mess up
I have braids in now and im following the method with slight modifications and let me tell u i am dyyyyiiiinnngggg i miss my hair soooo much!! But im getting excellent growth(a lil to much actually they startin to get a lil raggedy)*sigh* i just have two more weeks to go!
You have inspired me to do the crown and glory method! I am doing crochet braids. This is how I received very good growth in the past. Thanks for taking the time to tell us your routine!! You are so awesome!!! You are so amazing!! One day I am going to go natural one of these days.
@jemy1415 lol meee tooo check out my video on my braids. I did all that work and didnt even keep them in because i start missing my hair. but this time imma force myself to do cuz once i took them out i didnt want to deal with my hair anymore
sorry if i didn't catch it. May i know how does braiding the hair help the hair to grow at the crown?
