  • i documented myself a lot on this system from public domain sources...but i really don't understand anything i'm looking at here....

  • Understand the chemical iodine laser operates in the infrared. The only thing you see is the dust vaporizing because of the power not the beam itself so color cameras dont matter at all. The problem with chemical lasers is once you dump the the liquids together you get laser action. If you choose not to use it its a waste. So you need to keep enough chemicals to use more than once. Untill we come up with a better system this is what we have.

  • Folks, there's not really much color to show when its filmed in pitch black darkness with just starlight to aid.

  • What's wrong with using normal color camera. Why is this black and white shit? are they trying to hide failed test?

  • Very illuminating video.

  • however the one above moving to the second quadrant right was moving pretty fast and I cannot know what that was.

  • @kissmytwinkys Then you abvoisly dont have the experiance to be calling out things on this video

  • @ffishy100

You can't spell worth a shi* can you?

  • @kissmytwinkys I think he voted for Palin.

  • @JonItalia

lmao ya think? too funny....thanks for the laugh xo

  • @ :33 you can see wings and tail....what say you?

  • hmmm I stopped at :32 and has the shape of some sort of plane...too bad that black bar with date was in the way

  • They use old Minuteman missiles for the testing. The BIG laser came on line at full duration just before Christmas break.

  • How fast can it cook terrorist:) would it be thinking " Why do I feel h.. O SH!t....." Poof

  • Man, please, did you EVER read about what is called "lens flare"? I'd love to see some ets, but please, pleeease, wake up neo.

  • I can't believe this hasn't been all over the news!

Two extraterrestrial aircraft inspect the missile and haul ass when they figure out it's going to explode.

  • @idebeep uuum thats not what it was now shut up and stop being stupid and spreading rumors you are in know way shape or form smart enouph to tell people that there ufo's you dont know what those lights are why are they aliens ? lmao they could be anything do you know about the military to be calling out BS things like that stop spreading rumors

  • @ffishy100 Um, that isn't what it was. Now, shut up, and stop being stupid and spreading rumors. You are in no way, shape, or form, smart enough to tell people that there are UFOs. You don't know what those lights are. Why are they aliens? LMAO. They could be anything! Do you know about the military to be saying BS things like that? Stop spreading rumors!

  • wow that was a waste of my minute, but i'll try and make it back with saying whoever put this on here is a fucking retard ;D

  • Waste of a a minute? You just witnessed two extraterrestrial aircraft inspecting a missile, then fleeing before the explosion!

  • crist... that could be anything on that vid. sux

  • Look at the two extraterrestrial aircraft inspect the missile! Watch them haul ass before it blows up.

  • @idebeep Your an idiot

  • @ffishy100 I think you mean "you're" not "your". You learned something today.

  • not only yanks av this airborne laser to shoot down missiles, they av a mobile laser that mounts on humvee to kill incoming small missiles too, some say israel is co-partner in the program n probly might get the mounted laser, but hey damn jews probly funding it too innit..

  • Why do you hate Jews?

  • Seriously, stop your conspiracy theorist ranting. You're making me think you are either a really bad troll or a paranoid moon-landing-was-a-hoax crackpot. You can read all about the plane-mounted laser on the Internet (it's a chemical laser mounted on a Boeing 747). Clearly, you have not even attempted to find more information. This is what makes me think you are a troll.

  • @Anon701 Ya really people and there stupid conspiracy's lmao dumbasses

  • lol its lens flair

  • These videos wouldn't deter terrorists. It would make them rethink they strategy. So yes, it's a good thing that the military doesn't reveal what they have in the shadows....

  • just shows that military don't give a crap about showing what our new tech is like to 'deter' terrorists etc....lets have more fun surprising them while fighting them after they have killed loads of innocent tax payers!!! - wasting MORE tax money!!!

  • they have obviously recorded and documented this with a realy gd cam maybe even one on the missile and everything

but their not gona show u that for obvious reasons!!!

  • NYC is best seen in a radioactive glow.

  • "Hey let's spend a bazillion dollars on a sophisticated laser test and document it with a $50 Radio Shack IR camera that doesn't move!" FAIL

  • laser: 1

    missle and non-panning camera: -1

  • more like laser: infinity

Missile and non panning camera: negative infinity

  • Why not just say it's a shooting star? No really, is that glowing thing the missile? And is the laser that beam thing that appears? I don't see it "zap" anything!

  • cant they just shot it down with like a Gatling gun?? or something like that maybe a small missile rather than wasting millions of tax dollars on improving lasers =)

  • yes. try shooting a missile traveling at mach 5 and containing 100+lb of fissionable material. oh and i almost forgot, like a mile away from you

  • The idea is for the laser to fry the missile, attempting to get the fuel to explode. Because it's a laser, it can hit anything in line-of-sight, so, it would work at shooting down a nuclear missile. Small fast-moving targets are not a problem with this kind of laser system. And with the fissionable material, nuclear warheads will not explode unless intentionally detonated, so most likely the uranium would just be scattered over the ground, and uranium is really not all that radioactive.

  • The only real negative is that it fried about 20 birds before it got to the missile.

  • and tiny tim will eat this christmess

  • a little explenation would be cool, i don't understand shitz from whats appening

  • Why bother with lazers? Now the tracking systems are proven, they can fire it down with anything with a linear velocity - can't they?

  • nothing exploded...

  • It wasn't supposed to explode.

  • why cant the government buy a decent camera?

  • I'm not going to explain this because I'm lazy

  • why cant the goverment stop making weapons??

  • because they don't want to stop protecting us.

  • Looks like a very decent camera to me. More than likely, this is an IR or Near-IR camera, probably also a very high framerate camera. It will look grainy.

  • The footage is "for public release".

  • btw, how many missiles were launched at the US last year? not including where we are already killing ppl.

  • but we still have to go kill a bunch of ppl in the desert right? so BFD, waste of money imo.

great filled out description box, wired =)

  • whaddayaknow...industrial light &magic...!

  • I should've just read the title and not watched, now idk wtf I just saw.

  • This footage sucks.

  • Rofl

  • I keep hearing the accompanying music of the chase routine in "UFO - Enemy Unknown"

  • was this a sucess

  • why is there a reflection of the missile or laser in the beackground?
