Graves can suck a fat fucking dick. He didn't even know who the Misfits were until a day before he auditioned. He made the Misfits gay. At least Jerry was there from the start. Danzig ruled, Graves sucked -- Only is alright. Actually saw Jerry's Misfits in concert and he can do the old songs really well. Can mimic the bellow of Danzig. But at the same time fuck all the new stuff he wrote or even approved.
My band just opened for these guys (well, Jerry at least) and this was the best song they did that night, one of my favs...yeah I know, its not like I opened for the Static Age Misfits, far from it, and say what you want, but Jerry was a really cool guy...it was just really cool to just be able to open for one of the greatest bands ever...
@xXCaptainLouXx420 Static Age is one of the greatest albums (not just punk, but all genres of music) of all time. I thought Graves was a good substitute for Danzig (not as good as Danzig, but that is stating the obvious), but Jerry is kind of destroying the good name of the Misfits. I also read many times over that he is a good guy, but I wish they could get another singer to revitalize the band.
Little angelfuck Its a shame that luck is the only thing Did you like the fun Did you like the times that I promised you Open wounds on your brow Little angel in red She isnt loving you anymore Little angelfuck I see you going down on a fireplug Little angelfuck Size for everyone Let those bastards believe Dry your eyes and well leave She isnt loving you anymore
@philaboston It's " Little Angelfuck it's a shame your luck is a bitter thing. Did you like the fun, did you like the times that I promised you? Open wounds on your breast, little angel is red. She says nothin new anymore. Little Angelfuck I seen you goin down on a fireplug. My little Angelfuck. Sighs for everyone. Let those thoughts of belief, dry your thighs in relief. She says nothin new amymore." The second time is "Let those thoughts of belief. Dry your thighs and we'll leave."
Misfits, back when Glenn was young, back when they had normal guitar players, and back when they had punk drummers who knew how to play live.Shame theres not enough taped live shows pre-80,and even bigger shame they never did some of their best songs live like this one,She,In the Doorway, etc.
Loved that early Misfits connection with 50's-60's RnR thing, and all that doo-wop thing going on(best example 20 Eyes). That was,at least for me,why I get hooked on them.
@bukowski1950, I got the lyrics on-line and i tried my best to confirm the lyrics with Danzig's voice. Please reply with any corrections you have. I would like to know the actual lyrics. Thanks
I love this version. Before I bought all of the misfits albums, I used limewire to get all the songs and put them into the albums. I got the c.d's and deleted every song just to find out that I had all alternate versions before and they made up 12 Hits From Hell and Static Age.
i love this version too, i downloaded a off a torrent and it was every cd from misfits, including graves era, danzig era, and only era, plus it has a couple bonus tracks that are alternate versions, and also like a bloopers track which was them in the studio recording and screwing up a couple times
Its the 12 Hits From Hell version. I didn't think it was because 12 Hits From Hell is supposed to be "cleaned up", and it sounds pretty sloppy. I just got the album
the slower one ur talking about was the one danzig did at a later time, the walk among us one was the quick and sloppy sounding one. I have both versions.
@loserfest No there was definitely an alternate version of Skulls, i had it back in the early 2000s, and it took me years to find it again but i think i might have it laying around here somewhere
@loserfest Ive got 3 different versions of Skulls here and none of them are the one i was thinking of, which sucks because it was my favorite version. I think i had originally found it on AudioGalaxy years and years ago. I might have burned it on a CD but i have no idea where it would be now. SOMEBODY has to have it. It was almost the same as one of these 3 versions i have, but it was slightly faster, and all the other ones always sound too slow to me because of it.
@loserfest The version i remember sounded EXTREMELY similar to the one in this video: /watch?v=xPOUQ1NMvXA so im thinking it had to be some live version that just happened to be floating around the internet in the early 2000s. i wish i could hear it again, and actually keep track of it this time
Its Nothing new anymore it sounds nothing like she isnt loving you anymore

@philaboston I'm pretty sure Glenn doesn't care what Jerry does with the name as long he keeps getting royalties from the merch.

Did you ever come across two different takes of Skulls? I had the Walk Among Us version and some other one. It was faster and sounded a bit sloppier
loserfest 3 years ago
actually no, i think thats the only song that there was only one of
wafflemelon 3 years ago
wierd... I'm %100 sure it was Danzig singing, might've been Samhain, but I'm not sure if thats one of the Misfits songs they covered
loserfest 3 years ago
hmm strange, maybe i missed it, i know i have the one version thats all over youtube and shit, i dont think i ever heard of the other one
