High Voltage, Dance Commander, Gay Bar and Dance Commander) and can now say I will be a lifelong fan of this band. The poem read it thusly: "And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born? "

The whole poem is a metaphor for the destruction of world wars, and Electric Six have references to the apocalypse, war and nuclear holocaust all throughout their work, so not surprising they picked the line they did.
