please tell me someone know what the name of the song is right at the beginning of this video with the instrumental piano and violin, ive been looking for that song forever!
Lets call a spade a spade if Canada had lost those hockey games most people would have remembered those games as nice but disappointing. We won the hockey and for the vast majority of Canadians that's what really mattered.
most people consider the hockey win the most sensational but...i myself loved alex bilodeau (first gold on home soil) and the bronze medl for joannie most. IMO the most meaningful and they both have a very touching story
I cry everytime I hear "O Canada" it makes me proud to be a Canadian this video was well done and very well presented to the world. If you are a Canadian stay proud
Since Vancouver 2010 everytime I see a Canadian Flag or hear O Canada I swell with pride and can't help but smile and occasionally a small tear even comes to my eye in pride of our great nation we call Canada and what we did at those games.
Such an amazing time in our country's history. No way to explain it to future generations, they have to experience it. Our country was reborn during 2010. The feeling you get when an entire nation fully expresses themselves together is one that could never be repeated. Such a liberating feeling! 2010 is definatily a story that needs to be repeated forever
I know the U.S. has their "give me your poor, tired, your huddled masses" bit, but I think Canada's diversity, whether white, black, or anything in between, straight, gay, religious, atheistic, WHATEVER YOU CALL YOURSELF, is what puts strength in this country. You are truly welcome in Canada.
We forgive mistakes, poke fun at ourselves before at others, and don't make other countries' out to be threats to that freedom.
Does anyone still tear up when you watch what happened to our country? I do :) what an amazing thing to happen in our country so freaken proud to be canadian :)
I cried like a fucking baby. I am so damn proud to be Canadian it's ridiculous. I tear up every time I hear the anthem.

It was Brian Williams in the beginning, you can clearly hear him introduce Lloyd Robertson, and Brian Williams closes it out.
