Here are my reasons:

1. MC saved the universe 3 times (as mentioned).

2. MC is a human and (as mentioned above), Kratos is a god that fights in Greece.

3. The fact that MC is trying to save the universe is better than Kratos trying to take revenge on the gods.

4. MC has more combat skills when it comes to weaponry, he can use nearly any weapon he find, from close combat to long range and vehicle piloting.

5. MC is born naturally lucky.
