Not the same character, not even close. Imo, Seth is the perfect character for Poongko. Poongko is a showman, a showoff, a very flashy player. He's the type of player who likes to go crazy in a match and who better to do that with than Seth?

Way too many ways to combo into ultra? That makes her OP? So they should nerf Rufus, Ryu, etc. too right? Almost anyone can fadc an invincible move with an easy hit confirm to ultra. Viper takes TONS of work to get good with, and her no-meter FADCs aren't easy to do, none of her Super Jump Cancels are. How are they supposed to nerf her mixups? Viper is not a "broken" character. She is A-tier.

The reason why people say that she is OP is because she does in fact have a favoredable match up against Yun. Most pros say that Viper vs Yun is at least 6-4 in favor of Viper, but having an advatageous matchup against Yun doesn't make her OP in itself.

After all, the Seth vs Yun matcup is 7-3 in favor of. Seth. If Viper is OP and "broke" then Seth is more so since he has an even more advantageous matchup against Yun.

Vipers has none) he has a 3hit shoryuken (can combo after EX w/ meter), A projectile, A lot of juggle with his Cr.H Punch and a move that reels you in so he can combo off of it if you don't block or Cr.L kick into command grab if you do. Canceling moves to do combos w/ Viper is harder than using seth and there isn't a difference between a Stick and a Pad I can do anything on a Pad that you can do on a stick.

Unless something major happens like Evo Moment #37 or the crowd favorite gets bodied by a sucky ass character (such as one guy picking Dan and another picking Yun) the grand finals will always be less hype than the matches preceding it.

Ultra 1 was changed to a projectile so a fireball can beat it. It also captures less of the screen (vertically) Ultra 2's range was shortened. His dive kick was nerfed in speed and hitbox. His Chun-li leg in air was nerfed to where the hitbox is smaller than a mouse. He lost his arms which got nerfed anyway in super.

@Nexttimeillwin Oh I agree with you. I love Poongko as well. His Steve Austin hype always makes me giddy! I'm just sick and tired of everyone getting pissed off at Latif for beating both Poongko and Daigo. The man deserves it. He's been playing online (with a lot of lag) ever since Vanilla. He at least deserves some credit for giving America a chance to win Evo.
