  • He's probably using semi gloss poster-board. you want something that is smooth and sleek so that it will not absorb the paint, and it will stay wet so you can manipulate it.

  • you should sell this shit. really.

  • What paper du you use?

  • What kind of paint to use? And Paper?

  • Im trying to learn how to do this space art, its so dope

  • so wait, you just used a paint scraper to make the city scape? seriously, this i need to know. need!

  • what type of surface are you spraying on??

  • @Soccerchicka342

Use Gloss/Semi Gloss poster board. you can get some of it at a local walmart and packs of 5-10 from office depot for ridiculously cheap like 5.99 or somthin and i personally use rust-o-leum its THE best for amatuer-pro moon art but if its your first time just try some 1$ dollar cans at walmart but you can tell the difference in productivity.

  • Excellent work!!!!

  • where can i buy these?

  • when you make your bulidings do you just do rectangles. or the triangle method that makes it look more 3d 2d or 3d

  • Must have took a long time to refine this technique

  • My God, this is beautiful!

  • Glad to know that I am not the only one that uses milk crates as tables when spray painting.

  • brilliant! just brilliant! and you make it look easy too. ive watched a few of your videos now, what can i say? impressive!

  • howd he do the rings was that just the coffee cap?

  • @weirdercize He uses the same spade that he used to make the city

  • what paper?

  • I have always loved the diverse shapes and colors that they use!...also stimulates the imagination like a good SF novel does. Great vision!

  • Bloody amazing!

  • that is soooo F'ing cool

  • 32 people are stuck lost in space.

  • awesome music thoe either not my type or just strangely boring but like the art work

  • the 32 ppl dat didnt like dis dont kno real art when they see it

  • Wat's the Material where you put it on?

    And respect, great work!!

  • thats amazing

  • Hey brickwall, thinking of starting doing this type of paintings too, what spray is the best to use? Ironlak, montana, or belton ? Or some other type ? And also, what is it you spray on? What type of materiael board is it ? Sorry if my english is bad, thx for answer ! =)

  • @qp9lq9tecs anything (montanas the best) but anything will work, poster board (the shiny side), hope i helped

  • what type of paper do you use poster board or something? Id assume it has to be pretty strong to hold the layers of paint

  • i must learn how to do this!!

  • MY TURN :)))) awesome work

  • i realy like the fiery core in the center, really nice work

  • what kind of paper do you use??

  • Very awesome!

  • How YOU can be a part of the cast on-air *U.S. BROADCAST; or on-line, FROM ANYWHERE. Love your work! If you are enthusiastic about the show...Please prepare an audition tape: post it on THE ARTIST IN YOU TV SHOW PAGE on FACEBOOK, title it "AUDITION TAPE FOR THE ARTIST IN YOU". • could you please tell me what was marked on the piece of paper that was stuck down and removed on the planets.

  • I actually dont like this one.. sorry :(

  • heyy dude 5/5 of the painting but i was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the bit where you did the city if you did that would be great thanks mann :)

  • bittersweet symphony remix goes great with this video xD try it

  • AWesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • really cool they do this at the fair and santa's

  • that is cool

  • What tool did you use to make the ring around the planet in the middle? Oh and I might be buying one of your paintings.....

  • what song is this?

  • look on the info tab under description, it was made in garage band. It is a home made song.

  • that is so freaking kool!

  • holy shit.. amazing! holly shit.

  • one word: awesome

  • holy shit that is amazing

  • when you make the planets and put the paper over the layered paint, is that paper just like magazine paper?

  • Yeah, its just magazine paper kinda crunched so u get that rough planet look. yo could also use like notepaper, newspaper any paper that's semi-thick that can crunch up a bit. it depends on what the artist prefers

  • i tired magazine paper and it diddnt do anything for me...

  • hmm... cant help yeah on that, i use magazine paper and it works fine, sorry

  • Why is he doing that grid thing at the bottom?

  • It adds depth to the painting by giving a reference point for perspective,

  • 'Cause it's a city?

  • he use a poster board

  • what kind of paper do you use?

  • Nice, how long did this take? Since it looks like it's been speed up.

  • Probably around 5-10 min

  • i love the texture of the paint! :D

  • what kind of paper u using?

  • nicely done!

  • can i get you to spray this on my wall?

  • pretty good but the music got kind of annoying after a while it kind of distracted from the art.

my suggestion would be to use only classical music when showing art work, theres something about classical teamed with art that catches more attention. ;)

  • No way, this music is fun and upbeat! This guy obviously has fun doing his art hence this type of music!

  • yah the music is kinda fun but i was just making a suggestion

  • cool!

  • amazing!

  • oh n0ez

  • cool dude =D

  • AWESOME!!!

  • wow thats amazing. u have alot of talent

  • no one reads this comment anyway...

  • looks like u read it ha re re

  • lol im the only one and dont put my comment down !

  • well i am guessing on some really tough sort of paper ... or even on really thin plastic sheets ...

  • dont know if you already know but the paper used is gloss paper or gloss card. it needs to be non absorbant so the paint stays on top......hope this helps..

  • this kind of stuff makes what i draw look like crap. and trust me, i can draw. good work by the way!

  • ssiickkkk

  • in Lithuania you can sell this painting for 500 Lt that is i think about 250 dollars i saw something like that somebody selling

  • what kind of respirator do you recomend? im starting up this kind of artistry and i dont wanna be high the majority of the time i do it.

  • Very interesting, but the buildings could have had a bit more to them, and the planet's rings seem a bit choppy. Other than that, astounding.

  • cool but fuc*ing music :s

  • i just tryed today its ok but urs kills myne

  • Dude...paint me one. You have some awesome awesome skills.

  • dude your my idol

  • INSANE!!!!

  • I dont believe this man...amazing

  • is this same guy in Las Vegas on Fremont St.?

  • so simple yet so pimp

  • ive been experimenting with this art for a month or so (so im a newby) and whenever i try to layer a color ontop of another it clumps together. is this cuz im putting too much on or just bad paint or what?

    thx

  • Timing is everything. Let the first coat dry a little bit before adding second layer. If you wait to long between layers it could also mess it up. Just take a piece of paper and get the basics down. Good luck

  • thx man

  • that's incredible.

    awesome

    (y)

  • i have a question. i want to do the fire trick because i have been drying my paintings with a little blowdryer to go on if i need it dried. i wanted to try that trick with the flames and i figured you would know how. is it just a match and the clear gloss paint? i would think that that would work. message back please. thanks. =]
