I saw all their shows from 1979-1984 & I have yet to see a video that captures their true intensity of Michael Anthonys hard hitting bass, it just drove through you & rattled every internal organ in your body. It was so bad ass & heavy. Then they lost the magic, so tragic, I loved them so much!

Thing I always loved about Roth-era Van Halen is that they had a lot of cockiness and swagger because they KNEW they were that fucking good........and they could back it up when they took the stage to a roaring crowd.

Believe me if I had a good quality version of VH playing BH I would have posted it a long time ago. Unfortanatly, there is no high quality recording of them playing it. But who knows, it might show up on their new album.

I agree. But it's cool Ed and Alex have both confirmed a 2010 album to be followed by a tour with Roth. Alex announced the name of the album will be "Encore".

Yep. I just read it off a EVH fan site. There's a link posted to the interview. Alex was also joking about choosing a name that would spoof OU812. I've known about the tour and album for months now because Eddie has stated numerous times that there would be a 2010 tour and album. But, the Alex interview is the first and only time I've heard the back to the future thing. But, I suppose Alex Van Halen is about as good of a source as you can possibly have.
